Size 12 Winterizing Plug 2 - 2 1/2 Pipe

The fit was very good.

Rubber is soft enough to properly seat in the opening. Hand-tightening expanded the plug like it should and it is holding for over 3 months now.

I used it to close a drain and it worked as described.

My old tote had that valve assembly corrode away, so I needed a way to plug that hole in my rain water collection system. After cutting the valve assembly out and filing the hole smooth, this plug fit nice. That cheap plastic wing nut failed the first time I was tightening it, so I had to replace it with an actual nut. I also had to weld up a holder bracket to hold the plug in place against the weight of the 330 gallons of water, but I figured I was gonna have to do that anyway. 6 months later, and it is still holding and sealed just fine.

Quality plug but too hard for threaded pipe

My DE diverter was leaking. i bought a replacement gasket but the old one was glued in and I didn't want to deal with it. So i bought this plug to seal up the exit port. When I go to back wash I often forget to take this off and it holds back a good amount of pressure before poping out. Good times. I guess I wish the wing nut was even larger but its big enough to get it snug.
