What a great tool. I have mine threaded onto my hose.Why have this? You can change equipment on the hose while pressure washer is running.You can reduce the pressure at the tip on the fly.You can remove accessories and crack open the valve and let water flow so we do not do damage to the pump from over-heating.Downside. Adds a little weight.Plus side. When the gun is in the wrong position. turn the valve off. reposition gun and now we don't have to fight the hose.Last benni. You can also rinse down stuff just with the valve.

As described, quality appears to be really good and works great. All parts received - luckily.3 stars because of packaging. The packaging was a priority mail, thin cardboard envelope intended for documents not a 2.5 lb object . The envelope was damaged and the male quick connect fitting had fallen out of the package somewhere along the line. Fortunately for me, someone with the post office recognized this and the fitting remained with the package. Why package a really good product so terribly. That does not make sense to me, especially for the price you pay for this item.

Functioned OK the first use...second time ball valve almost frozen would not cooperate...third use, the connector leaks like crazy will not seal. Only used 3 times...overpriced for what it is

A TRUE "MUST HAVE" for ANY one in the high pressure washing industry. If it were possible to give 6 stars, I would! Finally a ball valve for pressure washing industry at an affordable price. I was blowing the 3/8" ball valves from plumbing stores and the big box stores. Ended up borrowing a buddys $80 ball valve, AND THEN..... My package arrived...Right as I was pulling out of the driveway to do some cleanings. I immediately put a ball valve on both of my high pressure hose reels. Cranked up the monster cleaner, turned on the heat (200 degrees) Figured if its going to blow out I prefer for it to happen right away. Result....... Not 1 single leak, able to shut the water flow off and change from my wand to surface cleaner without any issues and FINALLY I did have water squirt all over me when doing this. Today is Day 2 of HEAVY usage and hot temperatures, roughly 18 hours use so far, I now use the valve to minimize water flow by only opening valve how ever much flow I need at the time. I wouldnt expect this to last very long but I am on a mission to put this thing through extreme use, Just because. One of the Best accessories I have purchased. This high pressure ball valve works well for my 4300psi 4gpm belt driven pressure washer. I use it on the end of my pressure hose to swap from my surface cleaner to my wand. Please note: once it is pressurized it is very difficult to turn off and on. This is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. It works well, but you need to be strong to turn the water on and off with it, and after doing so about 10 times your hand will be sore. If you need to switch back and forth multiple times per day you may want to look at a more expensive unit.

Used the valve for High Pressure Drain clean out hose and nozzle. Allowed me to control the pressure and allow full pressure with out having to hold the valve open! This is really important if working alone, and need to change direction in drain without soaking everything especially in a sewer drain.If you use the valve for 1/4" drain clean out hose, you will need a 3/8" male plug quick coupler to 1/4" female quick coupler High Pressure fittings.

I love the concept of this thing and it has helped us tremendously, but I've had a few problems with it. 1) I bought it because it was the only one available that I could find, I really wouldn't have paid this much if I could help it. 2) It's over priced. It looks like the price has dropped a little, I believe I paid around $45 for it (yes!). 3) It's heavy. When your pressure washing commercially almost every day that little extra weight your carrying adds up! 4) Now here's the biggest problem I've had with it: Over time the thing has become VERY difficult to switch the valve on and off. It has been a huge pain in the #!@ on more than one occasion. To get it to switch easier I'd have to walk all the way back to the machine and cut the water off to prevent the pressure from making it tight to close which defeats the whole purpose of the thing! If I didn't need it so badly I would've tossed it about 50 yards into some woods somewhere with satisfaction. Besides that it's a great product! lol
