Second time purchasing this notebook. Excellent quality. Writes nicely. Fits in some jeans back pockets

For me this is the classic Moleskin notebook - excellent quality soft cover and ruled pages.

Good quality notebook. Great gift idea.

Advertised as A4. It says A4 on the back of the book. But put it up against all other A4 books and it's absolutely not A4. It's much smaller. Hmmmm. Just beware.

Bought as a secret santa gift for my boss. He loved it, has been well used since. The quality feels lovely from the cover to the pages themselves. The paper has a nice thickness so writing on it is very smooth.

I have used these notebooks for many years now and have found them to be indispensible. This particular one is the soft cover version, though you can get it in the same size as a hard cover depending whether you are going to put it in your pocket or bag. The corners are curved, so they shouldn't catch on anything.There is an attached thin fabric bookmark so that you can keep your page, an attached elastic strap for keeping the notebook together and there are 23 lines on each of the 192 pages. The cover is black imitation leather and looks more professional than those cheapy notebooks that you can get at your local supermarket. There is a little pocket inside the back cover that is big enough to fit a credit card or train ticket.A very useful notebook for shopping lists or jotting down ideas for your next novel.

Great quality product, they’re not cheap but then neither is the quality, I keep coming back to them, especially as I use a fountain pen a lot, the ink doesn’t spread which shows it’s quality.

But I absolutely love it! I wondered, how can the cost make a simple lined book better? It's hard to explain why, but it just feels right when I write in it. I would definitely recommend the soft moleskin because it feels much better to me personally rather than a hard notebook because it feels more comfortable and I generally prefer the texture (I also purchased a moleskine sketchbook which is hard but I prefer this). My dad passed away recently and I wanted to be able to write his memories and funeral preparations in this book and it's been very useful to me. I've done my planning and drafts of my tribute, I've carried a prototype for the order of service in the pocket at the back of this Moleskine to show my family and I now keep some of the sympathy cards I received from my friends.Maybe it's because I've made this Moleskine have personal value, but it is absolutely priceless to me. I guess it really is how you use this Moleskine tha will depend on its effectiveness. For me it's done it's job well, but at the end of the day it is just a notebook. It's what you need it for and how you'll use it. I agree it seems pricey, but I was willing to pay that price for something nice to write about my dad in.
