Super light, well made, and worth the money. Highly recommend
If you want a long handle spoon, buy this one! Took it backpacking and the long handle worked great for reaching into deep pouches for cooked food. "Super light”, well made, and well worth the money. I would highly recommend this spoon.

This might be my new favorite camping item
This might be my new favorite camping item. It's true what they say, it's the little things that make all the difference. I spent years using the cheap MSR and equivelent cheap $.89 plastic ware. They're nice because you can lose them, break them, give them away and it doesn't hurt. But they've never been 'great', just 'okay'. Id always have food on my fingers after getting into a mountain house or backpacker pantry food bag. Food always sticks to them, too, so cleaning is again, just 'okay'. This spoon is lightweight, thin, and long. I dont just use it for eating, I use it for scooping coffee beans into my hand burr grinder, I use it to stir the coffee in the AeroPress. It works great for a lot of things. And another positive that I didn't even know I'd notice or appreciate, the polished end. It's awesome. Nothing sticks to it, and it kinda feels amazing in your mouth, as odd as that sounds. Long review update, still awesome. I ended up buying 2 of the spoons and 2 of the sporks. They all sit flush together with a rubber band and makes an easy and low-profile 2-person "place setting." The spork is good for noodles like ramen, dehydrated spaghetti, fettuccini, et al. I love them both. A bit of an investment over other things that will get the job done but, for the ease of use I find it totally worth it.

Great! Lightweight and durable.
This titanium long handle spoon has quickly become a favorite in my backpacking kit. Weighing just 17 grams on my scale (a bit lighter than the listed 19g), it’s incredibly lightweight! The extended handle is awesome—perfect for reaching into both small and tall meal bags without getting hands messy. It also works great for eating out of a taller thermos! Highly recommended for anyone who values lightweight durable gear.

TOAKS daily use for LIFE
The TOAKS Long Handle Titanium Spoon is a staple for ultralight backpackers, prized for its extreme durability and feather-light weight of just 0.65 oz (19g). Crafted from pure, uncoated titanium, it is both rust-resistant and food-safe, ensuring no metallic aftertaste is transferred during a meal. Its primary draw is the 8.625-inch reach, which allows users to stir tall pots or eat directly from deep freeze-dried meal pouches without getting messy knuckles or "sauce hands". Design-wise, the spoon features a polished bowl that provides a smooth mouthfeel similar to home silverware, contrasting with a matte-finished handle for a secure grip even when wet. A standout functional detail is the flat head, which is intentionally designed to scrape every last bit of food from the stubborn corners of pouches or jars. While nearly indestructible, some users have noted that the edges of the handle can occasionally arrive with minor burrs from the stamping process, though these are easily smoothed out. Overall, it is widely considered a "lifetime" piece of gear that offers high performance for a modest price!

No longer comes with the storage bag!
I purchased my first version of this spoon back in 2018. It’s held up well over hundreds of total miles of backpacking. Now that my kids are older we’ve gotten them some of their own gear. I noticed the new version (spoon is exactly the same) no longer comes with the ultralight storage bag as seen in my photo. I understand it’s probably cost saving or some people aren’t using it. But I think it’s a good addition like some other titanium spoons that cost less. Overall the titanium coating on the handle is rugged. The polished bowl on the top of the spoon is great. I’ll never use a titanium spoon without that feature. It’s a decent size and tremendously lightweight like most TOAKS products.

superlight but sturdy
I started looking for a long-handled spoon because some things are done better with a spoon than a spork--for example spooning coffee grounds into a filter or tea leaves into an infuser. This TOAKS spoon uses lightly thicker 1.2mm titanium than the other brand selling an otherwise identical Ti spork, which also costs 50% more, and which is only 0.8mm thick. The TOAKS spoon and TOAKS spork are listed as 8.5" long, and measured exactly that. Both the TOAKS and the otherwise identical more expensive spork are exactly the same 8.5" length, as you can see in the photos (photos are of the sporks but the spoon is the same). That other one is claimed to be 9" (it's not). The slightly thicker 1.2mm titanium sheet the TOAKS is made from results in a more sturdy feeling spoon, the bowl especially, than the 0.8mm otherwise identical spork which flexes more. The TOAKS spoon weighs 19.2g while the the other brand's thinner metal spork weighs 15.1. You can also see in the photos that the TOAKS handle fluting has softer edges in the transition between flat section and fluting, though there no functional difference that results other than TOAKS being stiffer due to the more substantial construction. (For comparison, a Snow Peak Ti spoon is 2mm thick titanium sheet, though they do not offer a long-handled one.) The polished bowl is a nice touch and makes it feel like normal silverware in the mouth. The TOAKS Ti long handled spoon and TOAKS spork are for using with those deep bags you eat reconstituted freeze dried meals from. It's much more appetizing than it sounds once you're out there in the woods at evening, and you can find delicious freeze dried meals now. Reaching into those deep bags with a regular spoon or fork and the annoyance of getting food on your hand from the side of the bag is the reason someone said why not make a long spoon or spork. This special use is nice, and important for some who use these meals, but I find it useful for all functions I'd use a spoon/fork/spork for.

What’s not to like, weekly used for my noodles on the road. Not soup spoon, to small bowl for that but it is not sold as such so don’t compare.

Would have been great if it’s not made in China. Not sure if it’s safe to use 😂

Light and strong. Did the trick. Trekking partner had the type of poles you have to tighten with a screwdriver and neither of us remembered a multi-tool, we ended up also using my spoon as a flathead screwdriver--they're that strong!

口に当たる部分が鏡面なのが素晴らしい。チタンのザラッとした感触よりこちらのほうが使い勝手がいい。
