Best fruit cake that you can buy!
I purchased this cake for my mom. She absolutely loves it. She says it tastes just like fruit cakes that her mom use to make many years ago at Christmas. The cake is moist and filled with nuts and fruit. This cake has is a absolute must for Christmas 2025!

Can’t Go Wrong With This Fruitcake!
This has got to be the best fruitcake I’ve had in ages! It was fresh, full of nuts, fruit and goodness. Perfect weight and not dense like a brick as some are. My only wish is for them to add a little more fruit. Nice subtle rum or brandy scent (not sure which), but nothing you taste. Just about perfect.

Incredibly Delicious FRUITCAKE
Wonderfully delicious fruitcake. I hesitated purchasing because I do not like the taste of alcohol of any kind, then I read a review that alcohol flavor was minimal. I can smell the rum a little but it's more of a fruity fragrance. The cake is filled with nuts and fruit, both of which are extremely expensive, the dark cake is moist and delicious. These fruitcakes are not mass produced, they are hand made with care and attention to detail ( Watched YouTube video). I just ordered more so I won't run out! (Long shelf life). I just found the perfect fruitcake.

there was no list of ingredients
There was no list of ingredients with the cake or in the posting. I was assuming that since ingredients weren't listed on Amazon they would be on the cake packaging. Not there. This makes a difference because some people can't eat some of the spices or nuts in the cake. Otherwise the cake was good but not great. It had a good flavor from the rum and some of the fruit actually tasted like fruit. I know there were candied cherries in it but I can't tell if the other fruit was pineapple or citron, or a combination of the two. There might have been raisins but I'm not sure. There was a slight spice flavor, maybe cinnamon. As someone else remarked, it was very crumbly. I found a few places where the batter was not fully cooked. I think it had too many nuts and not enough fruit. I won't order it again but for those who don't mind all of the nuts it would be a good choice.

Our new holiday treat!
About two weeks or so before Christmas my friend and I spent a full day making her fruitcake recipe,a recipe she always said was in her family and came from a Catholic abbey many years ago. It was the best I ever enjoyed.....nothing came close...not we have discovered this fruitcake and what a Christmas blessing it is! So close to that old recipe and now w/o the work! Excellent cake...no shortage of nuts and fruit...and "spirits". Dense and rich...moist.

Not Worth the Money
For $50 this should have been an extraordinary fruitcake. I know making fruitcake is complicated but this is a ridiculous amount of money for what I got: 1) The tin arrived dented; 2) the texture and flavor right out of the package was sub-par. It crumbled while cutting it and had little flavor other than a sort of alcoholic chemical taste.I will say, however, that I decided to refrigerate it and when cold both flavor and texture improved substantially. I finished it in about two weeks and it got better each time. So if you, for whatever reason, decide to buy this brand I highly recommend putting in the refrigerator the moment you get it and waiting at least a few days before eating it.I will definitely not buy it again though.
