Handmade Quijote Metal Chess with Elegant Wooden and Metal Board

The set arrived in complete disarray. Pieces were broken and the board was dented. There was a fine white powder the plumed when opening the plastic packaging that was horrible to breath in.

LOVE IT! It's beautiful and great for displaying in my home office! We just love the iridescent look to the blue squares on the board! Wonderful details in the pieces!! They have felt bottoms and are well balanced. This set does not have a case, but I intend to keep it out as part of the rooms decor so that wasn't a big selling point for me anyway. I would definitely buy this again without hesitation.

Ordered and returned the first set due to noticeable flaws in the finish. Replacement set had same flaws and dmage to metal inlay. Not sure if this is lack of quality control or during shipping but flawed sets twice being sold as new. Highly skeptical these are new or the quality touted by the company selling these.

Very nice. Hard to distinguish the gold from the silver pieces unless you're in bright lighting. Very nice colors on the board and it looks just like the picture. Very detailed pieces.

The pieces are great. The board is not - it has a poor laminating job, lots of bubbling. Almost looks like a protective cover for shipping, but when I tried to pull it off from a large bubble on the side it chipped away so apparently it's part of the product. For the price the board should be high quality.

I was trying to find a high-end chess set for my husband as a birthday gift but was not trying to spend $300+ on a quality board. This set feels and looks much more expensive than it is, and for the price I highly recommend it if you are looking for a more luxury chess set.

This chess set came extremely damaged. Pieces were broken, chess board has major dents, and corner base foot is broken. Also, pieces are missing completely. Finally, item states it's 17x17. Actualdimensions are 11x11.

The chess board colours are stunning and the pieces are wonderfully detailed. I’m so happy, the purchase is a gift I’m confident they’ll love.

Too small for the price . Nice set though, but the board is 12 inch not 17 & the pieces are not 2 inches
