The greenback wading boot by Korkers offers a unique traction system, omnitrax interchangeable sole system adapts your traction to any fishing condition. Upper materials comprised of hydrophobic materials = faster dry times which lessen the chance of Spreading invasive species. Includes cemented parts and strategic seam locations. An internal drainage system means that water flows Thru internal channels then out mid sole ports, removing excess water and weight.

Nice boot, great concept, good design
I went back and forth between a 5 star and 4 start rating. Great boot, very good design, lightweight, and great price. They also drain quickly, which is nice. The felt is good - nothing magic though - about as grippy as my last pair of felt-soled boots, perhaps slightly better. And they seemed to get less gravel and sand in them than my last pair (my current waders don't have gravel guards). I've yet to try the rubber soles. I'm looking forward to seeing how they wear after several trips. Frankly, the construction is probably not as bombproof as other boots, but that's fine with me - it makes them lighter (less fatigue). The construction is more "meshy" than "leathery." If fact, I think it's all synthetic construction. These boots are easier to put on than my last pair (my leather Simms Freestone wading boots were stiff as a board and needed to be pre-soaked). Also, of course, it's a huge plus to be able to fish in States that have banned felt - a great selling point.Taking the soles OFF is pretty easy, but I found that putting the soles back on did indeed take some doing, as I believe another reviewer noted. Maybe I don't have the right technique, but I found it sometimes difficult (but always doable) to get the "snaps" on the periphery to click into place. Some sort of plastic lever may help. So 1/2 star could be deducted here.Note that there are also removable insoles inside the boots, which I didn't expect but is a nice little feature (easier to clean and dry and can be replaced if they wear down, or if you have high arches I'm sure you could use a custom insole). As for sizing, I usually wear a size 8 and I ordered a size 8. The fit is right on with standard neoprene-foot waders. I wouldn't want it any more snug, though. If "heel lift" annoys you, I noticed that there is noticeable heel lift compared with all my other current footwear. This was remedied somewhat by tightening the laces more. It did not bother me at all while fishing. So 1/2 star could be deducted here.

Comfortable, ankle-savers.
I was leery of the swappable soles, but once on the water, they were worth their weight in gold. These fit much more comfortably than other wading boots I've tried. They feel like heavy hiking boots instead of some sort of moon boot. I ordered my standard shoe size and they seem to fit well with stocking foot waders and wool socks on. The swappable soles are great for when conditions change. I packed both with me on a backcountry fly fishing trip this weekend, using the rubber to hike around, and the felt on the slippery rocks. The ankle support probably saved me from a sprained ankle a couple times. The guys with me in rubber soled wading boots were jealous of the spots I was able to wade to.

Very nice except rubber sole peeled back on first use
Very comfortable, changing soles was a nice feature and easy. Unfortunately, the rubber sole started to peel back at the toe the end of the first day of a two day trip the first time wearing these. I switched to the felt soles the second day, but I am really disappointed. Maybe these aren't the solution I was looking for in a versatile wading boot. I am hesitant to give them another chance with a replacement pair. I am waiting until the next planned trip to decide. I don't want to replace now and have the return policy run out before I even wear them again! Hopefully you have better luck if you decide to try.

Very Comfortable
Nice wading boot for a good price. It's nice to be able to switch soles depending on the river bottom. I mostly use the felt soles. I ordered a size larger than my actual shoe size and they fit perfect. They are light and dry fairly quickly.

Nice but run 1 size small.
Nice boots but run a full size small. Did a lot of research regarding size before buying both in these reviews and on workers website and all indicated they are true to size. All of my shoes range from sizes 11 to 12 so I bought the 12 and they are a full size too small, should have bought a 13. Even with no socks inside my waders every toe is curled up against the end of the boot. Unfortunately I bought these just before a trip and didn't have time to exchange them so ended up wearing them for a day of fishing. Now trying to figure out what to do with a nearly new pair of too small wading boots. Wishing I had just bought them from a local shop.

Comfortable, change soles for different conditions. Great fitting.
Very comfortable boots and fit correctly. Refer to the Korkers website. I am a size 9.5 and size 10 boots fit fine with stocking foot waders. Being able to change the sole from felt to rubber is awesome and you only need 1 pair of boots. Very lightweight, I was suprised by how light they actually are. They are also getting more comfortable as they break in and soften up a little.

I have been very pleased with these boots thus far
I have been very pleased with these boots thus far. The quality of construction, fit, and comfort is top notch. The rubber soles are perfect for the silt bottom, tree strewn river I frequently fish. I was initially wary of the robustness of the interchangeable sole system, but it seems well designed and secure.
