Lovely holiday countdown. Wish it came with chalk

Scratches easy
We have had the chalk board about a month now and the blackboard bit is so scratched that you can't hardly read what we write. I'm not heavy handed with the chalk and I don't even remember to change the date on it everyday, so i assume they havent coated the board enough to prevent it rubbing off. I'm not sure it will even live to see our holiday in Aug.

Lovely plaque
