A lot of bad revues but I bought it anyway. The reasoning is Magma was out of stock and the person who answered the phone was rude and said buy a new bbq. So I bought the after market one that she said probably won’t fit. Turns out it fits great. If they would have dimpled the burner to hold the regulator in it would be great.( NO MORE MAMGA PRODUCTS FOR ME)

This is a junk product, made in China crap.Didn't fit couldn't install the regulator after burner installation.BUYER BEWARE CHINESE JUNK!!!Amazon shame on you for selling this garbage!

I should have read the reviews. And yes, the tube is lacking the indent to hold the propane regulator in place. Could be a serious fire hazard.

There was no dimple in the burner to hold the regulator in place. Otherwise, would have been 5 stars. (A hammer and center punch did the trick).

Ok people here is my honest assessment. I'm an experinced cruiser who does most all of my trawlers repair and maintenance. I read the reviews before I bought this magma knock off burner and shield kit. I asked the seller after reading reviews if the burner had the needed nipple that locks the regulator in place so it doesn't fall out he replied yes so I bought it. Well it does not in fact have the indent / nipple so let me tell you what I had to do to make this work. Most people should be able to do these modifications in order to use this kit and save a good bit of money instead of buying factory OEM. I will say the quality of the stainless the metal is good. Now I had to do the nipple or indent for the regulator by using a good punch if you will, I measured the old one and the placement which is about 20 inch away from the air intake area use my punch and a hammer and made the indent myself and it worked like a charm actually looked factory. Now I had to use a Dremel and a cut-off wheel to modify the brackets of the heat shield in order for it to fit and sit down properly over the burner. The new one sits approximately 3/8 above the burner. Overall simple modifications but all said and done looks good fits good and you save a good bit of money. If you don't want to modify it don't buy it by OEM. I hope this helps someone out there. vote 45 in 24. Capt gman

Parts seemed to be a spin-off from Magma original parts. They did not fit well. I was able to use them by bending them to force them to fit. If not pressed to use them I'd would have sent them back. Don't buy these things unless you have tools available to force them to fit !
