Compact high power density & deep discharge cycling
I'm very pleased with the way these 2 modular 60Ah LiFePo4 batteries are performing.I've wired them in parallel to provide a nominal 13.2V DC to power my ham radio station.I use a 2kW DC-AC inverter to power my Linear amplifiers.They can easily power my ham radio equipment for a whole night (without solar charge power) giving out over 1.2KWh, then get them recharged by solar power the following day, while also operating a few radios.One change I'd like to improve the modular battery is to increase the positive connector lug size, with a bigger hole, to take a #4 AWG size lug, because each battery can provide up to 90A. But I realize that this would require changing out the protection relay for a larger size one.I found it difficult connecting to the positive terminal which is very short and I also had to drill out the hole larger to accept the #4 wire lug.
