I have two cats who like to play in their water bowl. One, a Maine Coon, does only a little water batting. The other, a regular Tabby, likes to perform scientific experiments that involve whisking as much liquid out of the bowl as possible, and then attentively watching it run down the wall or pool on the floor. She was constantly creating messes and slipping hazards. This fountain (with no flower attachment) has put an end to all cat water activities, except drinking! I am delighted with it, but the cats are bored and disgruntled.

I don’t know why I waited so long to get this. It’s perfect for our two Maine coons and they absolutely love it. We had issues with our cats splashing all of the water out of their bowl every day and leaving it empty. I read these fountains discourage that behavior and so far it has! They’ve kept their paws out of it. They do not like the two flowers that came with it.. but once I removed those they drank from it with no hesitation.

I have 5 large indoor cats and this water fountain is great. I have had several different water fountains over the years for them and this one is probably the easiest to take apart and clean. The filters usually last about 2 months, it keeps the water clean, its easy to see the water level from across the room to ensure its filled and it is very quiet.

Overall I like the product but there is one big issue. The bowl on top does not fully fill up with water. There are too many holes on top so the water leaks back down into the reservoir and never fills up the upper bowl.This cause my small dog to drink only from the stream which is not as easy as drinking from a bowl. I notice her face gets all wet because she has to drink from the stream by putting her face very close to the attachment.I think the design should allow the bowl on top to fill up with water so that your pet can drink from the bowl and have the option to drink directly from the stream if they wish.Not sure if others are having this issue so please let me know. The bowl on top is almost empty while its running.

I love this product! More importantly, my cats and dogs love it too! The window is very helpful to see how much water has been reported. I've read reviews regarding the pump going out, fingers crossed it doesn't happen to ours. We only run it the hours we're awake, with a water bowl always available in another room. I placed a floor mat from my bf's truck underneath to catch any splashes and to prevent sliding; with eleven housecats and two Chihuahuas, stuff happens!😹

The noise level: absolutely silent. I’m really in awe by how quiet it is. I’ve tried to listen for the sound, but if there’s any then ambient noise in my home crowds it out. I hear leaves rustling through an open window, or the refrigerator, neighbors talking in the distance, or far off road noise - but I hear nothing from this fountain! No splashing sounds, nothing!I’ve only had it for a day, so I can’t speak to longevity, but the pricing and silence is worth a repeat purchase!

Very easy to put together, and a great size. I was looking for something to provide a few days worth of water so I don’t have to constantly refill the tiny bowls, and this is perfect. Provides relatively fresh, constantly running water, and the cat loves it. It’s not really noisy, but it makes enough of a noise that sometimes I hear it and think it’s my (almost noiseless) dishwasher, then I remember. Great solution to keep the car hydrated with low effort, would highly recommend.

Loved that it has no sound and a window to see water level. Light was also good for night light too. However, cleaning was not pleasant as I think because of the light it began to grow algae. There isn't a way to get rid if it because I think the sea pods were in the pump too. After 4th cleaning, just ended up tossing it out.Also the metal top began to rust.
