They would only fit my scepter gas cans but they work great on those.
I used 2 of the spouts on 2 of my spector gas cans and they did not leak a drop and were a good price and they are great for seniors with arthritis in there hands.

Easy instalation
These worked well easy to install much better than the new caps on gas cans

Exciting to finally make use of new-age gas can
Would have gladly given 5 stars for finally being able to throw out that ridiculous contraption that comes with new gas cans nowadays. Supposed safety features make those unsafe and painfully unusable.Installation is easy. However, the included cover does not make a leakproof seal for storage and transport. Sadly, I have to keep the original ugly contraption for transport only. For the price of this 3-pack, I think they could have included a gasket for that purpose. Thus, minus one star.Brands:worked for Scepter, did not work for Gasbuddy, does not fit 20 year old gas cans. Guess that is too old for 'Old Style'...

This is a real review
I seldom take the time to do a product review but this one is so bad that I had to. I bought 6 of these in total and all of them ended up in the trash. I used the yellow caps for my gas cans and the fit was poor from the start. The plastic at base of spout is too small to adequately cover the opening in the can so they would leak unless you had them placed just right. You inevitably try to tighten them to stop the leaking and the very thin caps crack and become unusable. I eventually bought EZ-pour caps to seal the cans and I just use the 1 older spout I have that came with the can. EZ-pour products are a little pricey but the quality is far superior and they will last much longer. Save yourself some money and a lot of frustration and buy a quality product.

Better than the stupid lid the gas can came with, but not perfect
Great fit onto the nozzle, so much happier with the product than the worthless one gas cans come with now. Cap to the nozzle though is too small for the nozzle, so it has to be forced on hard to work. Tenuously secure, as it seems like it will pop off, but hasn't as of yet.

Return to Ease of Filling
These spouts allows one to return to the days before the space-age spouts were introduced. The space-age spouts were driven by the EPA to ensure minimum loss of gasoline (or other volatile liquids) into the atmosphere. However, installing one of these spouts is simple and accomplishes the same EPA mandate; one drills a hole in the container, inserts the air vent, replaces the stock spout, and pour away like we used to do. Placing the cap on the nozzle and snapping the air vent in place seals the container and avoids vapor loss. These replacement units are almost a must for those who have multiple gas-powered tools.

Breaks easily
Yellow caps to hold down the spout are weak and crack easily when tightened resulting in leaks. All 3 of kine are cracked now. The black cap to close the end of the spout does not fit tightly and is easy to accidentally knock off. Right idea, but poor quality and fit. Clearly a rushed china manufacturing job. Lastly, no flame arrestor on these.

Remember the good old days
Need 1/2 drill and hammer to put in vent, you will not push it in with thumb.....good-n-tight fitThe cap that holds the spout on, 2 included for different threads, threads match but needed large pliers to get it tight enough to not leak.....also need large pliers to get it off, so I just used the one that came on the gas can....hand tight no leakFar far better than the modern gas cans
