Baby Brezza Formula Pro

This is one of the most helpful tools I've ever had for baby. Wish I had this for my other formula making needs.Absolute lifesaver for middle of the night feedings when coherency is at a minimum. With the push of a button and a few seconds, we are able to return quickly to satisfy our red-faced, hollering bundle of joy. I like to tell him stories of how his sister had to wait far longer for the bottle warmer, overheating and starting over, and the sometimes chunk-filled bottles that needed serious arm muscle to work out. I tell him how the Brezza makes perfect temperature, well-blended insta-bottles. He shows his appreciation by sucking each one down nearly as fast as they were made.The machine itself is easy to set up and employ. It cleans up easily but even on my most careful days I do make a small, powdery mess around the machine and the formula container. A quick wipe with a damp paper towel or cloth on the top and around the outside is all you should need to do. The formula dispenser/container on top also washes up easily but has many small spaces that hold water. Dry thoroughly, formula will cake up in these tiny nooks with even a little moisture.It does have a couple little things that need to be watched and worked with to keep its convenience. The dispenser funnel asks to be cleaned every 4th bottle. Most times it's pretty clean but that 2am feeding when you can't see, snd it's slightly more challenging to both remember to do it and actually do it. I try to work around it by cleaning it after the last late night bottle so I can make it through to the next morning.The formula dispenser/container on top needs to be cleaned and dried well at the dispensing hole. I found that every other day is sufficient but it's kind of a pain to have to empty it, wash and thoroughly dry it before I can use it again. Formula tends to cling to container and spills out when removing and emptying it for cleaning. I'm sure that's operator error in some way but I'm pretty meticulous and find it a little wasteful with the frequency it needs to be emptied/cleaned.The water reservoir holds enough that it only needs to be refilled once, maybe twice a day. I've learned to lift just the front to refill it so the condensation doesn't spill all over the counter and machine.Kind of wish it had the same water-heating method as my Keurig but that's mostly irrelevant.In short, if you take care if it, it will take care of you. I recommend this to this who need to formula feed more than a few times a day. In our first month it's already worth its price. Almost didn't buy it because I planned to breastfeed but ran into a couple bumps that prevented it from happening at all. I had to spend a week in the hospital after an emergency surgery, and my mother in law had to take care of our newborn for most of that week. She loved and appreciated the Brezza even thought first she had her reservations about my purchase.May it serve you as well as it has served us :)

Verdict: WE LOVE THIS MACHINE.At first, we almost didn't buy it because of the negative reviews on here. There are several people however, who have pointed out, that it is a necessity to READ and FOLLOW the directions when setting up the machine. We set the machine up per instructions, had to "reboot" once because the water tank said it was still heating. The wheel for the formula setting you need has to be set and figured out and then it's just a 1-2-3 and you have a perfect bottle.It's been a heaven sent, especially at 2 am in the morning when none of us can see straight. It's also keeping baby entertained as he figured right out - that thing makes my bottle so I don't have to cry anymore. Also helpful when you have grandma's, grandpa's or other family over and just tell them to put the bottle underneath and push the button. Voila..!Let's face it this is not a necessity and there is some daily maintenance such as funnel cleaning and rubbing a toothpick underneath where the formula is dispensed. That's it and in turn it will take seconds for your next nightly bottle.We've been joking that this is one of the coolest inventions and that we're looking for the real "Keurig" version of this with the little formula pods. Everyone that has seen it says the same thing: Very cool.Update 6/30/2016: We have since given this machine to a household with a newborn. Like us there were initial start up problems with the machine, almost prompting the new owners to give up. After following all instructions, it worked just fine. So I say it again: it's important to read the instructions carefully before giving up on this totally awesome machine. Also, I saw the competition has one that heats the water "on demand" but then in turn takes a long time to make a bottle - not great when you have a hungry and crying baby in your arms. And remember use only distilled water so you don't end up with mold problems. When we decommissioned our Baby Brezza we followed the instructions to empty the pump and also cleaned every part, and even after one year of use we found no mold anywhere. Highly recommend it!
