Huy Fong Vietnamese Chili Garlic Sauce, 8 Oz. (Pack of 2)

This chili sauce is wonderful for those that like a little kick. You can’t find it at the grocery stores anymore so I’m guessing that’s why it has gotten soooooo expensive.

Not too spicy. Just the right flavor profile for soups like Zupa Toscano and chicken caldo. Great with pasta too.

There is no siracha sauce on the market that even comes close to the flavor of this. It evidently was brewed by a Cambodian lady and then imported to California by a Vietnamese guy. But alas there is a shortage of peppers to keep in on the supermarket shelves. What supply is still left has gotten too expensive for my budget. So I am now using picante sauce in its place. The picante is not as good but I have to make do. I hope the pepper market recovers soon!

Worth. Every. Penny. I'm going to 2nd what a previous review just said "This Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce has a spicy, tangy, hot flavor; it's not sweet, not like Siracha, and definitely not like ketchup! " We put this in homemade and home delivery meals. Anything with rice, veggies and stir-fry meats. Suggest taking an antacid if you are sensitive to heat. A little goes a long way.We were shocked at the price when we finally went online since the grocery stores were always out. We always stock up, so it was a surprise to us when we learned the reason behind the shortage. Sad about the chili crop and supply chain issues. This is the only brand we use. Stock up if you find it. I bought multiple jars.

I love this sauce, adds a new level to every dish I make. I hope it becomes available again for all to enjoy.It is so worth it!
