Terrible material and once it was washed it faded and the material fuzzed as if it was rubbed on a piece of wood with splinters

My son ordered this for his father's birthday. It arrived with a big hole (I inserted a pc of white paper to show and pointed the area with a red sharpie) from missing stitches of hems. We weren't aware of it till his dad received it on his birthday and put on to try.My son tried to contact the seller and in reply "order too old for return." That's not something we should QC for the merchandise as soon as we receive, is it? Disappointed and will not consider this seller in the future.
