Great sneakers
I walk a lot and wear out sneakers. I wore the soles out pretty quickly. They are comfy and I like the brand. They fit well. I think I ordered an 8 and a half. Good deal for the price. I would have bought another pair but they didn't have any in my size.

Super Comfortable!
From the moment I put them on, these hikers were super comfortable. Plenty of room in the toe box, good traction, and attractive as well. I’ve seen people complain about round laces not staying tied, but you can google “tying round shoelaces” and watch several videos that show how to tie them so that they stay tied. Easy-peasy and it works.

Size up by half or whole size.
The quality of the shoe is great. They hold up when stomping through puddles and they offer great support. However, I wear a size 10 and my toes hit the very front of a size 10 in Merrell. They are comfortable for about 3 hours before my feet hurt. I would suggest getting a half size larger or a whole size just to make sure you have enough room in the toe box.

Super comfy-good support - bit big
I ordered and returned a few hiking shoes before I ordered these. These are the most comfortable I've tried - right out of the box - and have good support. They seem a little big, but I'm keeping them in my usual size. I decided it's better to have them a bit long instead of jamming my toes. I like the granite color, but the purple barely shows up, and an almost entirely dark gray shoe looked a little dull. So I spruced them up a bit by adding some purple laces - the elastic Lock Laces, which I love - and now I'm happy. I actually ordered the Boulder color first, but I didn't like the colors in person, so returned them and ordered granite color.

Comfortable and stylish
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! The color is awesome and the shoes are comfortable. This is my second pair in a different color. I have dark charcoal with aqua green accents and they’re a 6.5 I bought these orange ones in a 7 because my toes are jammed a little in the 6.5 so I am saying they run a little small but I will wear them both. Take care!

My experience w/Yokota...
Currently I own several pairs of Merrills shoes. My favorites are Yokota style walking/trail shoes. I own 2 pairs. However, I've ordered and returned two pairs as well because the sizing and quality control is a bit sketchy. The first pair now wear (dark brown) fit like size 9s though they are labeled as 9.5s (which I ordered). They are small, but with the right socks they fit well. The second pair (light brown) fit beautifully right out of the box (ordered size 9.5 got size 9.5). They are my go to shoes for daily fitness/trail walking. I just ordered and returned the oxide red Yokota shoes. The left shoe was good. The right shoe had a defect in the way the loops (the laces go through) were installed. They just didn't line up, which made the shoe fit a little bit off...causing my foot to twist inside the shoe when I tightened the laces (causing my ankle to turn inward). When walking over uneven, dirt trails my feet need to be stable inside the shoes I wear or my hips, knees, and ankles become painful. I like the Yokota shoes I have (that fit properly)...and hope Merrills gets their quality control problems straightened out because I'd like another pair to rotate with those I now wear.

Comfortable right out of the box and water resistant
These are cute hikers, and I have found them to be true to size (7.5, not wide). In fact, they are just slightly loose and accomodate thicker hiking socks. I found them to be comfortable right away without having to break them in. They are not waterproof, but are water resistant and don't get soaked in wet grass.

Great light hiking shoe
Great shoe. Color is slightly lighter but they feel really comfortable.
