I have the beginning stages pf periodontal disease. I have noticed a difference in the amount of bleeding lessening and now have no pain. I have only been using this twice a day for a week, not a lot of taste, and doesn't foam in your mouth.

Excellent toothpaste

I have been hearing about the healing properties of Manuka honey and was interested in trying this toothpaste especially since I have sensitive gums. The flavor, as you would expect, is quite sweet and it is sticky. I have used it a few times but don't feel like my teeth get very clean from it.

I had no idea that Manuka honey was good for cleaning your teeth, so when I saw this toothpaste I had to give it a try. There is no price currently listed on Amazon, so I'm not sure if it's a good value or not. As other reviewers have noted, it doesn't foam as much as most brands of toothpaste. I think it's pretty funny that the box mentions that the toothpaste is "82% natural". Unless something is all natural, I don't think it helps to say that. A product could be 82% natural and the remaining 18% could consist of chemicals that are not good for you. In that case you would still not want to use the product. But I think this toothpaste is fine except for the lack of fluoride. Because of that I do not plan to completely replace my regular toothpaste with this. I'll use one in the morning and the other at night, so that I am still getting fluoride each day. This toothpaste does clean very well, so I have no complaints in that respect. If they would add fluoride and sell this at a competitive price, I think it could become a popular product.

This is an interesting product. It left my mouth feeling clean and my teeth feeling smooth, and it has a mild minty flavor that doesn't burn like some. It doesn't have fluoride, so I wouldn't replace my regular paste with it (I like fluoride in my toothpaste), but it is gentle on my mouth. I have eczema that sometimes flares on/around my lips and even in my mouth a bit, and toothpastes can aggravate peeling when I have a flare. This is very gentle, and I would probably use it throughout a flare because it wouldn't dry/burn my lips as much. However, for daily use it's pretty expensive, and it has xylitol (I was trying to find a natural toothpaste that actually works and does not contain xylitol); for my purposes, I don't really see much advantage for daily use, especially at this price point. Fwiw, the tube says it's 82% natural, and it's made in Italy.This made my teeth feel cleaner and my breath fresher than any other "natural" toothpaste I've used, but it doesn't foam enough for my preferences, and I don't have issues with fluoride, so it's not really for me. If you do prefer a mostly "natural" paste, this gives a better clean (and better breath) than Tom's IMHO.

Americans like me have probably never heard of manucka, but it apparently makes a decent toothpaste. This particular paste is a little thinner than familiar mass market pastes, which is not a criticism, just an observation. It has a mildly sweet and mildly tangy flavor, not the conventional mint taste. It foams well and seems to get teeth clean. According the label, it does contain a large number of chemical ingredients, not including fluoride. It is more expensive than basic pastes but within the range of premium products. Overall, it is a fine and effective product, different from almost anything you have likely tried.

This is one of the more unique toothpastes I've ever tried. I do like the flavor of it, its far less minty than any toothpaste I've used, and I'm not a huge fan of mint so this is a nice option.It does leave my teeth and mouth feeling clean and fresh which is a nice feature.It is a bit difficult to get a decent amount of foam, but it still seems to clean well without that. While it does not contain any fluoride, the label lists a pretty large amount of ingredients that I'm not aware of what they all are so it's a bit difficult to determine if they are a better option than fluoride.This toothpaste would be a good option if you have issues with using fluoride, and it does have a better taste than other natural type toothpaste I've used in the past.

This is a more natural toothpaste that is fluoride free and packed with honey and oils. I use it just a few times a week as I like fluoride on my teeth but like the gentle break, this offers. It is not as minty afterwards but does leave my teeth feeling clean. Would be good for something looking for something non-irritating and gentle for mouth issues.

Die Zahncreme von Melora beinhaltet die in Neuseeland einheimische Manuka „Superpflanze“ in Form von Manuka Honig und Manuka Öl. Das Öl soll antientzündlich und antibakteriell wirken. Der Honig wird als Heilmittel vermarktet und soll mitunter gegen Hautinfektionen helfen. Die Bestandteile der Manuka Pflanze sollen im Großen und Ganzen Magen-Darm-Beschwerden, Erkrankungen der Blase, Erkältungen, Hautkrankheiten und sogar Wunden kurieren. Auf die Zahncreme bezogen sollen die Bestandteile somit bei Zahnfleischentzündung und kleinen Wunden helfen.Die Zahncreme ist schön mild im Geschmack und etwas süßlich. Die Schaumbildung ist unserer Meinung nach eher gering. Von der Konsistenz her ist sie eher Gelförmig und fast durchsichtig.Fazit: Aufgrund der geringen Schaumbildung und des sehr hohen Preises leider nur 3 Sterne. Ein frisches sauberes Gefühl bewirkt sie aber definitiv!Über ein „hilfreich“ freue ich mich immer sehr und auch ein „nicht hilfreich“ kann hilfreich für den Verfasser sein… Danke!

Ich probiere bei den Zahncremes gerne mal etwas Neues aus.Die Zahncreme ist mit einem Siegel geschützt. Wenn man das abzieht, muss man aufpassen, dass man die dünne Unterfolie des Siegels mit erwischt. Ich habe nicht gesehen, dass diese dünne Folie noch drauf ist und habe dann fest gedrückt, weil keine Creme kam. Dann kam die Creme natürlich in einem Schwall raus.Die Zahncreme ist klar und fast durchsichtig. Sie schäumt nur wenig; der Schaum reicht aber aus, um in die Zahnzwischenräume zu kommen. Der Geschmack ist fade; mit viel Fantasie schmeckt man ein klein bisschen Honig heraus. Ein richtiges Frischegefühl hinterlässt die Creme nach dem Putzen nicht. Die Reinigungswirkung ist in Ordnung; ich habe da aber Zahncremes, die die Zähne sauberer und glatter machen.Um fast 7 Euro für die Zahncreme auszugeben, müsste sie erstens ein frischeres Gefühl geben und die Zähne noch besser reinigen. So ist es halt einfach eine Zahncreme, die mir zu teuer ist.

Die Zahnpasta ist glasartig und durchsichtig. Sie lässt sich gut auftragen auf die Bürste.Beim Putzen schäumt sie wenig. Der Geschmack ist klasse, frisch, aber nicht scharf.Es ist eine natürliche Zahnpasta zur sanften Reinigung und zum Schutz der Zähne und des Zahnfleischs.Die Zähne und das Zahnfleisch fühlen sich gut an.Es ist kein Fluorid enthalten.

Geliefert wird eine 100ml Melora Manuka Zahncreme in einer weißen Plastiktube. Auf der Tubenöffnung befindet sich zum Schutz ein Hygienesiegel aus Alufolie, siehe Foto. Sie beinhaltet nicht nur Manuka Honig sondern auch das neuseeländische Manukoöl, dass ungefähr genauso riecht wie das australische Teebaumöl. Die beiden Öle riechen sehr ähnlich und bieten sehr guten Pflegeschutz bei sensibler und problematischer, zu Entzündung neigendem Zahnfleisch. Für die Maori Ureinwohner hat die Manuka Pflanze (Südseemyrte) als Heilpflanze eine besondere Bedeutung.Nach Anbruch ist die Melora Manuka Zahncreme 12 Monate haltbar. Es gibt keine deutsche Gebrauchsanweisung auf der Tube und Verpackung, es steht alles nur in Englisch da.Fazit: Den Geruch von Manukaöl muss man mögen, schmecken tut sie aber sehr lecker durch das Sorbitol und Xylitol (süß) und das frische Pfefferminzöl und Menthol. Die Zahncreme sieht eher wie ein Zahngel auf meiner Zahnbürste aus, siehe Foto. Sie hat eine ausgezeichnete Schaumbildung und hinterlässt ein angenehmes Frischegefühl im Mund.Die Zahncreme ist für die gesamte Familie geeignet, meine Empfehlung!
