Doesn't take long for jerky
15 minutes is too long for thin jerky strips, but adds a nice finish from the smoker

This is good stuff
I cure and smoke pork bellies to make my own bacon. I use this instead of pink curing salt and this product is very, very good. I knocked off one star because the last bag I got was broken open in transit. I tried to do a usual Amazon return, but apparently this item is not eligible to be returned. It took about 15 minutes to get the matter resolved through some sort of chat procedure and my money got refunded, but it was a little aggravating. Again, this is not any knock on the product itself.
