Other then receiving black instead of the white which was the color I was expecting (luckily didn't matter to me because both colors work for my circumstance) I think this desk lamp is pretty fabulous! If there was a stainless steel version I would purchase that without hesitation, hint!I had a similar lamp I purchased from Costco a little while back. That had a digital clock on the face which I thought I would like BUT that clock stopped working and I found it was too bright during times I wasn't using it. This lamp has no such thing, it does have a cleverly designed dimmed blue light that only switches on when turned off at the 'on' button so you know where to touch in a dark room. It also swivels in just enough (although I would like to see one more) places so positioning it in just the perfect way is a piece of cake. The base has good weight to it too unlike the other lamp I owned. For the price an exceptional value with many functional modern features. One recommendation... add one more level of positioning (side-to-side) just above the control center much like the concept you use for the top swivel, it goes up-and-down and side-to-side.

This lamp is nearly the perfect desk lamp. So close that I hate to only give it 4 stars.First the good: the light spread is perfect. Being able to control the color temperature and brightness is amazing and works great. I love having this lamp on my desk as the sun sets. I can switch it to night mode which reduces the strain on my eyes.Now the things to improve: the arm has pretty limited range and since it's so tall, it ends up taking up a lot of room on the desk. Being able to tilt the base backward while the top stays flat would be tremendously helpful. Secondly the power cord comes from the side of the base. Since it's such a modern a clean design, that cord seems out of place. And I'd love to be able to set it to turn on with it's previous settings rather than starting over. Not a big deal especially since it's made clear in the directions but still something I'd love to change.

I bought 3 of these for a console table that I was going to use as a workstation for myself and kids. Due to space being limited, it is in the dining room in front of the window, so I wanted something elegant, minimalistic and unobtrusive. Also, the console is going to double as a bar area during parties.Due to all that, the fact that the lighting has so many options for brightness and "warmth", it is perfect. Also, the timer is awesome. When someone is sitting down to work, I am getting them in the habit of setting the timer. That way they don't forget to turn it off when they're done and I don't have to be going over to turn off lights all the time. The usb charger is very useful, as work often entails being on an electronic device. 2 amps is perfect if you have to charge while using your device. Those lamps with only 1 amp can only hold battery level steady or at a slow decrease if you are using battery intensive apps.The touch feature is so light and easy, we really like it.And not that it has anything to do with the performance of the product, but the packaging was gorgeous. Sleek and elegant just like the lamp, eco friendly and easy to open.

First the Pros.1. The lamp itself is nicely designed and the base is heavy.2. Very versatile, can swing up, down, left, right, twist around. The different light modes and temperature (yellow versus white hue) is a very nice feature.3. Adjustable brightness, awesome!Cons.1. The USB connection will not charge my iPhone 6 Plus. Verified by the following methods. Using OEM Apple Lightning Cable. Tried it first in the lamp, shows charging however watched the battery drain while plugged in. Unplugged same cable and connected it into my computer, no problem charging. It appears the lamp does not produce enough power to charge an iPhone 6 Plus, and based on previous reviews the iPad has issues charging too. I even went as far as buying a recommended Anker lightning cable. Still doesn't charge using the lamp.So please consider what you plan on using this lamp and its features for. For me the USB plug sold me so thats why I am only giving it 2 stars as it's not worth my headache to return it, and the pros outweigh that con. Mostly because I am using this as a computer lamp and I have a USB port on my keyboard that works perfectly fine. However, if you are using this lamp away from any other USB charging capabilities, I would recommend passing if that's an important feature to you and you own an iPhone 6 plus or iPad. Possibly other devices, cannot confirm. If you don't care about the port and are just looking for a solid and versatile lamp, then I would say this is a great purchase and the price is very reasonable for the features and slick design.I have contacted the Customer Service to see how well they stand behind this product, I will update everyone on the customer service.**Update**I contacted customer service, they sent me a label to send it back and shipped out another unit as soon as the defected unit shipped out. That was as good as their service goes since the unit they sent me in exchange has the same issue with not being able to charge the iPhone 6 Plus (with OEM or Anker lightning cable). So in short, if you are purchasing this to charge your iPhone 6 plus or iPad you are going to be disappointed.

The light feature is good, but what I hate is the USB charging port. It does not charge my iphone 6+ most of the time. I would connect the USB port to my iPhone with stock lightning cable before I go to bed, and wake up finding that the battery is only charged 2%. That's 7 hours of charging.

Excellent product. I can change the colour temperature and dim. Plus the USB plug. Looks good and works well.

Great desk lamp, it has a good variety of functions, a lot of light intensities and a good range of movement. I use it at every hour of the day when I am working or studying in my office and it does a great job. I never have to think about it because it blends beautifully in my desk setup and it just works without any problem. If I have to setup another desk, I will surely buy another of these!I recommend this product for any student or desk workers, especially for people that work late at night.

It is a nice desk lamp. I like a very firm stand and how each part can rotate, even the part that shines.I wish it was a little longer for my own taste, but cannot complain about the lamp.It has four different light settings (you could control its intensity). I actually like the night time setting the best.It has a timer which is plus.

This is the best lamp ive ever bought. All the light settings, USB port and manoeuvrability of this lamp make it a essential home item. I use it everyday and couldn't be happier with it. And the price makes it that much better.

Great lamp that is very versatile. Provides even light as advertised, and the usb connection is super convenient. Overall I love it, and at a great complement to my desk setup.
