Used for Outboard Jet water flush fitting
I used this to fashion a replacement fitting for the water flush on a jet pump from Outboard Jets. This fitting has longer threads than brass hose fitting that I replaced. The longer threads allow it to engage more threads and stay connected during flushing. I used some clear tubing and other adapters to connect to a garden hose for flushing.Super fast delivery and good price.

Really useful but it leaks
This leaks gear lube. It's not a lot of lube, but it is more like six or seven tablespoons for a quart of lube. Messy. Still, it is very, very useful. I no longer have to squeeze or pump lube into the lower unit. I use this adapter, some tubing, and quart of lube to fill the lower unit. Just hang the quart of lube upside down at a point higher than the upper vent of the lower unit. It will fill itself through the bottom fill hole. You will need to put a small hole in the bottom of the lube bottle to vent air in as the lower unit fills. Very useful little item.

Junk, swivel leaks
Absolute junk! Swivel leaks right out of box.

A Great Upgrade!
For as long as I can remember, putting fluid in the lower unit was a pain. Trying to screw in the adapter would have the tubing come off the pump and spill the fluid on the floor. This swivel adapter completely eliminated the problem.
