Good budget or starter set.
I have not used a router for professional use in free hand or in a table in 30 years, and my use is only for hobby and around the house jobs. I do know that routers these days have variable speed dials to properly set the speed for each bit and the type of wood being cut. With these budget bit, this is something that should be taken into consideration even more so when using. My first use was to roundover my 36"×24" bamboo cutting board that I made into my little work table top. I used a Harbor Freight full sized Hercules router with the 1/4" bushing, and I set it at the lowest speed. It was such a beautiful and professional cut. I have to make a comment about those complaining about bearing failure. Check the bit before you use it. If a bearing fails right after you start using it, it's almost always on you. If it chews up your work surface, then it's almost always on you. Before I even thing of using a bit, I check the sharpness of the bit. If it is getting dull, I can hone the edge without it losing its profile. If the bearing needs lubricated, I lubricate it. If the bearing is even the slightest bit off, then I will replace it or repair it. If you can't do these things, then maybe you shouldn't be using a tool that can spin up to 30,000 RPMs, regardless if it is a budget or premium tool. My set did arrive on time, it was well packaged, it was all in place, each bearing spun easily, each blade was sharp. I have not spun each blade, and I might never use all of them, so I cannot attest to the perfect balance of each bit, but so far, the ones I have used have perfect balance. For my little use and hobby jobs, I have nothing but good things to say about these. I will say, and I say this about any sharp tool, and moving tool. Use safety protocol and wear the proper safety gear.

Good Starter Set, But Not Built for Heavy Use
Overall, this is a pretty good set, especially if you’re just getting into woodworking. It gives you a nice variety of bits to experiment with, and it’s a solid way to learn different cuts and profiles without spending a ton of money. The case is a nice touch and keeps everything organized, which makes it easy to grab what you need. That said, after a few uses, it doesn’t really feel like these are going to last long under heavy or frequent use. The quality is decent, but you can tell it’s more of a beginner-level set rather than something built for long-term durability. If you’re just starting out or need something for occasional projects, it’s a good value. But if you’re doing a lot of work, you’ll probably want to upgrade to higher-end bits over time.

Cheap but Good
These work wonderful and work at higher speeds than people are suggesting if you do not want kick back. The issue is depth with these and you will need to make a few passes to get it right because if you go too deep, you may ruin the blades; however these do work but go shallow with them. Great price with good shipping. All bits arrived well oiled and undamaged as well as the case. The case is sort of dangerous because it grips the bits really tight so be careful removing the bits. This is my only gripe about the product. Thank you for reading.

Great starter set—but know what it is (and isn’t)
Picked this up as a general-purpose router bit set, and for the price, it actually covers a lot of ground. You get a wide variety of profiles—straight bits, roundovers, chamfers, dovetails, flush trims, etc.—basically enough to handle most common woodworking tasks without needing to buy individual bits. That’s the main value here. These sets are designed to “cover everything,” and this one does that well. The bits are carbide tipped, and they cut clean enough for typical projects—nothing to complain about for light to moderate use. Where it shines: Good variety—great for figuring out what bits you actually use Solid for DIY, hobby work, and occasional use Fits any standard 1/4" router (handheld or table) Where it falls short (and this is important): This is not a premium set—don’t expect long-term durability under heavy use Edge retention isn’t going to match brands like Freud, Diablo, or Amana Some bits you’ll use once… and never touch again (typical for these big kits) Bearings and finish quality can be hit-or-miss compared to higher-end bits Reality check: This is exactly what it claims to be—a budget, all-in-one set. It’s ideal if: You’re getting into routing You want to experiment with profiles You don’t want to spend hundreds on individual bits upfront It is not ideal if: You’re doing production work You care about perfect finishes straight off the router You expect these to last forever Bottom line: Great value for getting started or filling out your toolbox. Use this set to figure out what you actually use—then upgrade those specific bits to higher-end brands later.
