Way, way, way, way to Orange! These are like Halloween lights!
These lights look fantastic, when turned off. But when they’re turned on, they emit a disturbing color of orange. It’s like Halloween in my bathroom now. All the wall paint in the room looks weird under the intense orange light. It’s just awful.Let me say, that I’ve had real Edison bulbs in the past and they emit a soft warm light. I’ve seen LED Edison bulbs on display at Lowe’s and Home Depot and they all have a warm glow. This is what I expected when I bought these bulbs. After I installed them, the color was so shocking that I thought, surely there are color settings in the app so the light can be adjusted, but nope. The color of these bulbs is not soft white. It would best be described as medium orange. The orange is as intense as a Phillips Hue color changing bulbs. My wife and I tried to live with these for a week and we just could not get used to them. So, we’re sending all 8 bulbs back and instead of smart bulbs, we’re going to put in smart light switches and go with regular dumb Edison bulbs. This is a shame. Every bulb in our home is a Phillips Hue. But, these bulbs just have an unacceptable color. I don’t know what Phillips was thinking when they approved the color of the light these bulbs produce. They really could not have picked a worse color.

Uncontrollably blinking and completely unusable.
The media could not be loaded. Easy set up with the Hue hub and app.Bulb worked great for about 45 days, when it began to blink uncontrollably.I have tried everything. Resetting the hub, router, etc. I even forgot the bulb off the Hue hub and reinstalled it to no avail.Video is taken while the bulb is completely disconnected from any ecosystem, and is operating on it's own through a lamp that is wired straight into a wall socket. No smart plug, no dimmer, etc.Flashing.Great for a party, I guess.Edit: (3/6) Seller reached out to assist with this issue, but once they found out I was outside of the return window, they abandoned it .This isn't an uncommon issue. Stick with one of the regular bulbs, or use a smart plug with a non hue bulb until they address these failures.

Problem with flashing bulb
Count me as another buyer with a dud bulb.I have a house full of Hue bulbs and accessories and recently obtained a fixture which this filament type bulb would look nice in.Setup was a breeze and the bulb looked beautiful - great color and suitable brightness (this is a decorative light). All was going great until I started making adjustments in the app to dim the bulb. Once it had been dimmed, the bulb began flashing uncontrollably. I'm seeing similar complaints about the bulbs here and elsewhere online, so it sounds like it's a somewhat common problem, unfortunately. Giving the bulb a "rest" seems to let it recover a bit, but it resumes flashing after being on for a few minutes. I've tried it in multiple fixtures and the flashing continues, so it's clearly not an issue with the fixture.

Threads on bulb are too short.
It is a beautiful bulb and I really want it to work. Unfortunately the threads (I am guessing they are E26) are too short for the lamps I could use it in. It will not go down into the socket far enough before a very much wider piece of plastic just stops it from making the electrical connection.

It’s About Time!
First off my entire home is Hue. The one room I lacked Hue was my guest bathroom that has a rustic decor. I used Edison bulbs that weren’t smart. Enter Hue Edison bulbs. Thank goodness. Now my home is completely Hue, the bulbs look great and I couldn’t be happier. I pair Hue bulbs with a Hue motion sensor in my bathrooms that turn on automatically when someone enters the room. Highly recommended! If you are already using a Hue setup or would like to start, the Edison bulbs are great.

Couldn't ask for more
I have read that some people don't think this bulb is bright enough. Well, filament bulbs were never this bright, so what are you looking for? The color is warm white and gives a warm glow. If I wanted this bulb to be modern, it would be nice to have it change color temperatures. I use this in my pantry with a motion sensor to look retro in our old farmhouse. I also have the other shapes in a cloche and one in a block of wood with a socket in it on my desk ( World Market). I dim them down to the lowest setting and it gives off a calm, warm glow with the filament visible. I recommend this bulb to anyone that isn't looking for it to be a primary source of light, but more of an ambient accent.

Blinding Brightness, Great Value
It might just be because I haven’t quite figured them out yet but, after install one of the two lights I purchased constantly loses connection. I should note that I don’t have a hue bridge and control the lights exclusively through my Alexa hub. I don’t even have the hue app. Other than that, the brightness is good however it’s almost blinding if the lamp faux filament itself is exposed, which as an Edison bulb I think most people like to be able to see the fiber optic filament. Not an issue though because you can control the brightness and even at its lowest (like 1%) it still gives off a decent amount of light. Pretty fair price as well. I should note that they are made of glass unlike other smart bulbs so be careful unpacking.

At last, a Hue Edison bulb!
I've had a lamp from Rejuvenation for a while that is just a cage with an Edison bulb, and because all of my other lamps have Hue bulbs, this one has gotten neglected for a while. I was so thrilled to see Hue release an Edison bulb! The light is gorgeously warm - sometimes I mistake it out of the corner of my eye for candlelight - and its dimming feature is excellent. It's very pricy for what it is, especially since my other bulbs are white and color, but I imagine that like other Hue products the price will go down over time. Being able to have an exposed bulb and still have Hue features is really excellent, though.

Preciosos
