2Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Extension with 4 inch Rise/Drop, Solid Shank

This hitch extension was just what I needed for our bike racks on our Winnebago Travato. The variable extension from 3” to 4.5” and 6” worked great with our tire mounted on the back. I really tightened it up by threading the desired bolt hole and tightened it to the 2” receiver from the vehicle. Most important the hitch extension has a four inch riser which really helps with the Travato because of the low clearance in the back of the van.

The hitch male piece holes are not drilled perfect but it is a well designed and heavy riser.

Bought a Curt trailer hitch for my 2021 Toyota RAV4 and needed something to raise my cargo carrier a few inches to clear my exhaust pipes. This did the trick perfectly and it not only clears the exhaust pipes, but also the bumper. It has 3 holes to adjust how far it goes in or out, and mine fits perfectly on the center one. It's a solid piece of metal and pretty heavy so I don't think this will bend anytime soon if you're using it for a cargo carrier. It also doesn't block my liftgate from opening as long as my cargo carrier is empty of course.

I needed a drop adapter with a short extension. I couldn't use the shortest pin location because of hitch receiver restrictions, but this adapter was the best of any that I reviewed, and it worked. It is strong and can withstand considerable tail drag when road conditions are unfavorable.

Used it to raise the bracket for a spare tire on my ATV.

I needed more clearance to allow install of a motorcycle hitch carrier. Perfect! I now have 13" of clearance that is needed to use the motorcycle hitch carrier. Installed an anti rattle hitch and voila!

Extension arm is a solid bar. So you can not use any of the anti-rattle screw pins, you will have to buy the anti-rattle brackets instead which is highly recommend as there is a lot of play in the receiver.

Lots of movement. Must buy vibration clip. Still to low.want higher.
