Stylish Dog Collar that does not Smell!
I have a water dog. Every time that we would take him to the dog park swimming, his collar would smell, even after we bathed him and it! I finally broke down and bought this collar. He has worn it for a year and a half and it still looks and smells brand new!As for the aesthetics, people complement the collar all the time. I even had a vet tech say something about it, which seems like high praise considering the number of collars they see each day.The fit is a little off. He is right in between a large and a medium. Since the medium would be too small, I went for the large and it is on the second to tightest notch. You can see the extra sticks out in the picture of him from the front. It is still a little loose in my opinion, but he has never slipped out of it and he seems to find it comfortable. He actually bugs me to put it back on, when I take it off to brush or bathe him. I guess he really likes it, lol!

Best Best Dog collar
I cant say enough about Dublin Dog No Stink collars. I sing it's praises to everyone who owns a big stinky lab especially in the summer if your dog likes to swim or just roll around all over nature. This collar does not hold any odor. It's amazing. I think my dogs are comfortable wearing it?? They dont really talk about it much, because they like when they smell all doggy and fishy etc... It is a bit pricey and I had one that started to lose a plastic piece of decorative piping on it before I ordered the one from Amazon. The one I ordered on Amazon was a steal so I dont know that I will ever get that good of a price again, but I check all the time to see if one comes up at such a good price on here. Hoping it does someday.

As advertised
Absolutely positively love Dublin Dogs no stink collars. My dogs are wet all summer long & these are the only collars we have ever had that do NOT start to stink when your dogs are water dogs. The pale green matches my dog’s eyes & the brown trim matches her fur. She looks & smells fantastic.

I love these collars (we just got the medium one for our other dog), but this size is huge and the medium size has no overlap with the large size, so we can't go down. I have this on the tightest hole and the extra length sticks out quite a bit. I hope one day these are sized with more overlap so that it's easier to find one that fits. The large is on our plump lab/pit bull mix with lots of extra skin around his neck, so I'd imagine if you have a bigger dog and usually have to get an XL collar you might be able to make this one work. The medium actually ended up being the best fit for our great dane because her neck is so thin. It's nice not to have to pay the extra for something big enough for her!Other than the sizing, these look great, are secure, make a huge difference with our water-obsessed pup and seem super durable.

Great for dogs who swim a lot
This collar is great for dogs who swim a lot. We have a yellow lab and he is usually swimming in the pool, creek or lake (or lounging on the couch). Prior to this collar he had nylon collar and a fabric collar. Both of those collars stunk making Maui one stinky dog. That is not an issue anymore. The collar is great and we would definitely buy this collar again.

Smells, Bulky, Pulls Hair, Loose buckle
First of all, I paid for this at the regular price and this is a real review just like the good old days. It's long because I know how difficult it is to find real information on these products and all of our dogs have different needs and preferences. First I'll list the measurements I made on a size Medium using a caliper accurate to 0.01" followed by my opinion.MEASUREMENTS (Medium)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------19.25" -- length end to end1.01 " -- width0.75 " -- between holes4.51 " -- first to last hole0.18 " -- total thickness* / includes the inner layer 0.06" and outer layer of rubber 0.12"2.10 " -- buckle1.41 " -- d-ring, top to bottom. Inside dimensions are 1.13 x 0.720.52 " -- rivet* Note the thickness of webbing (from Ruffwear Top Rope collar) is 0.06"REVIEW--------------------------------------------------------------------------------[1] Rubber stenchI took this out and immediately smelled a stench of rubber from from 23 inches away (collar on counter to my nose). I am not sensitive to smells and it did not make me gag, but it is powerful and cannot be ignored. I don't like the idea of the smell right under his nose possibly interfering with his walk smells. Dog did not care when I put it on him and I think it will resolve in 1-2 months.[2] Color is dull.Looking for colors that pop off my dog's white coat; color contrast makes it more likely he will be seen if he's on the loose or otherwise in the danger zone. The red here is a dull red approximately 50% as luminous ("bright") as the red depicted in the product image. It's what I expect the red in the photo to be after a few years of use.[3] BulkyCompare the thickness of this at 0.18 inches to a standard webbing collar like the Ruffwear Top Rope at 0.06 inches and you'll see why I think it's such a bulky product. Most no-smell collars are composed of webbing + a urethane layer (see the Dublin Dog Trout Collection) or are a synthetic leather biothane (see Omnipet Zeta series) instead of such a bulky rubber. It looks like this has a webbing vinyl on the interior which is exactly the thickness of webbing, but the outer rubber adds a ton of bulk (0.12"). Not to mention this would make it seem more like a chew toy than a collar to a dog, and provides little benefit over a sleeker, lighter webbing-based alternative.[4] Catches furThere is 0.15" of space between the edge and the stitching of the two layers. This creates a "lip" that bites my dog's long fur. I don't recommend for long haired dogs.[5] Quality hardware but loose buckleI will say the D-ring is nice and open for leash attachment which is uncommon. But I don't like the 0.5" of side-to-side play that the buckle has in its rubber sandwich, and there should have been more attention paid to the rivet spacing, and fastening this component down for a more secure fit.

We like it!
It really works! This dog is in and out of our pond all day and kept getting hot spots or some kind of bare places. Vet thinks she might be allergic to some kind of algae in pond. She had been wearing a day-glo orange mesh collar, which probably didn't dry well. She is also now taking yeast tablets and an antihistamine, but she looks so much better, and I know the dry collar plays a large part. Before this, besides the bare spots we had seen, her fur looked like some old lady's moth-eaten mink coat, where there were small places we'd never seen. Now she has grown in new fur and looks sleek.
