Outstanding work on historical method
An outstanding work. E H Carr's "What is history ", surveyed some issues which the present book covers. But, the distinctive feature is the treatment of new issues,whether it is post-modernism , subaltern studies or Identity politics. Definitely,a student of history must read this.

Good book. But pirated copy.
The seller has delivered a fake/pirated copy. The paper and printing quality is substandard. I have several Abacus publisher books including Hobsbawm's modern history quadrilogy and hence I can very well discern the difference between an original and a fake. The seller should immediately stop such unfair business practices !!!
