DC Sports Universal Round Muffler 2.5" Inlet-3.5" Tip Straight Cut

Surprised by the quality of this muffler. I had previously in stalled a D5 Concepts Axleback on my 2005 Corolla XRS. It sounded fine, and looked ok; but the quality was garbage. The fiberglass sound-deadening material literally shot out of the back (looked like a dead animal was hanging out of the back of my exhaust). Eventually all of the material came out, and the exhaust sounded horribly loud.Took this to an exhaust shop, had them weld it in, immediately returned the exhaust to a level where you can definitely hear it on the outside (deep, low pitch), but it is nearly stock-quiet on the inside.Also, as I said in the first sentence, the muffler is REALLY nice quality. The D5 concepts muffler (and any that are under this price range) are cheap, thin, crap metal. The metal on this is thick; the tip isn't just a round piece of metal but actually gets progressively thicker as it tracks towards the muffler. I'd absolutely purchase this again.

The muffler is loudish for the first week or 2 of driving. After it breaks in it actually isn't very loud. It produces a nice tone. The only aftermarket part of my exhaust is this as of now. I've gotten many compliments on it. It even looks very nice on my car. Its on my acura integra. I had a shop weld it on because I didn't want to clamp and bend the pipe or muffler also I bought this because my stock one fell off and I wasn't losing this one. DC sports is a very good brand. I bought mine used for 32$ on here but honestly it was brand new but the DC sports box was a little damaged on one end nbd. Hope this helps :)

Love the sound!! Beefy and strong on my little honda engine.. with intake/catback this does not sound fartcannish.. it sounds strong... Buuuut word of advise to Catbackers: this muffler is baffled, has no removable silencer. What u get is what u get. So if u want wide open.. or the option, grab 1 that has the removable silencer.I bought this baffled setup because Im in it more for sound not performance. R18 Civics arent very mod friendly so muffler /intake/ catback and call it good.If your wondering how this sounds with a DC intake.. bitchin! I have a shortram.. again performance not my goal and the hell with hydrolock, fts! There ya have it.. happy revving.

This muffler is awesome. Just installed it yesterday and wow it’s a quality piece. It’s not loud at all. I’d recommend for a car that’s doing a custom exhaust not just replace the stock one with this you won’t hear much sound difference. There really isn’t any drone. Not that I’ve noticed anyways. From the other reviews of that. I can say none from my point of view and I have my factory mufflers deleted and the 3rd cat.

The media could not be loaded. Nice n clean tip, ALMOST an exact fit replacement for the stock muffler on my 2013 Accord.Had to get an extension piece from autozone to give it an extra 4” of length so it clears the bumper a little more.Also had to get an exhaust hanger to weld on since it doesn’t have one already.Sound is nice and throaty in higher rpms, on idle it’s hardly noticeable. No annoying high pitched scream up in the top limits of the rpm range either.Make sure if you diy to either use STAINLESS welding wire or if you don’t have that, put an enamel coating over the welds to prevent rust (science n stuff regarding heating different type metals).Total price with the exhaust pieces I bought at Autozone was less than $50Total time spent prepping and welding - less than an hour.

I ordered this for my 2000 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L. Putting this on a four cylinder I was worried it would sound like a bee trapped in a can and all of my friends were telling me that it would sound terrible, but as soon as me and my good friend cranked my car up after installing it we both exchanged looks of pure shock. This gave my car a nice deep tone without making it loud and annoying and now it sounds like a powerful V6. The muffler is shiny and extremely well built and the welds are solid and this whole muffler is just absolutely perfect. I recommend this to anyone wanting to make their car sound and feel amazing on a budget.

I ordered this muffler to add a little sound to my 2000 Toyota Solara SLE and man did it. I was expecting it to sound like a typical "Fart Can" but it doesn't and even my friend who installed it said it sounded awesome! I get compliments all the time now! It has a low pitch sound that gets louder as the rpm's get higher. The quality of this muffler is top notch and is comparable to more expensive brands. I'd recommend this muffler to anybody who wants a great sound and increased hp!
