Feniex Industries AI Cube - Adjustable Off Road LED Pod Light

Purchased a pair of these, 1 of 2 works. After returning and receiving new, 3rd one worked and then did not and decided to return the set. Great functionality, a light that dims and brightens. Additionally, motor from spot to spread. If only they worked. Wiring is extremely simple, in addition to ground and power, additional wire dim, brighten, motor to spot and to spread when wires are charged w/ positive/red wire. Tried multiple times with multiple setups to get these lights to work. Harness being used worked with no issue before, even pulled out the multi meter to confirm 12v out. Again, tried new harness and multiple hours wasted. Really hated to return these lights. Hopefully someone else has better luck!

I really wanted to mount this pointing to the rear of the pickup over the bed, but I find myself between vehicles. So I had to test it out on my bench. Install is simple - drill a hole, mount, run the wires. The included wire is 22" long and you'll need to provide a three pair cable. Red and black is positive and negative, gray and blue fade and brightness, white and green for spot or flood. Black goes to ground, red to a power switch, and the other four to momentary switches. To make it easy and professional looking you can pick up a mini-console or control panel, or you can DIY it and install four momentary switches and a power switch.The spot/flood is actually controlled by a small motor that moves the LED back and forth. Everything is rugged and solid - the stainless mount is 1/8" thick. One complaint - where the cable enters the housing there's no stress relief - you can actually see the bare wires. This area is sealed, but you're going to get crud in here. I'm going to add some Sugru and shrink-wrap and make a DIY relief.It also feels a bit expensive for a single light, even one this versatile.

This light is vastly different than any other Offroad light you will ever own. Once you try this one out it is hard to go back to regular lighting. It can adjust zoom and brightness all from one panel which eliminates the need for separate flood and spot lighting options because this thing can do it all. The panel that I mentioned is sold separately and once you have it the wiring is not bad at all. The instructions are well put and ease you through the process. The light seems very durable and has not shown any signs of water getting inside or deterioration in quality. Also, I have not heard any road noise or whistles while I’m driving with them on my windshield. Great light overall, but the fact that you do have to purchase a separate product to control the lights is a big negative.

This light does things other lights wish they could do. Besides being extremely bright this light has a controllable brightness and controllable zoom capabilities. Go from spot to flood or somewhere in between with a push of a button. Very advanced system allows u to do this. Now this light doesn't come with a switch or controller to do these functions that is sold separately but you could run this to momentary switches and it would do the same.
