This is a great tool for most people who carry in the waistband. For me, all of my pants have varying waist sizes (slightly) and my weight can fluctuate 5-7 lbs in a month's time. So, while holsters are an obvious method of carrying, also comes the extra needed room in waist. Using this device allows you to lose the need for additional room needed in the waist (about 1/8") where as most holsters increase gun width by over half inch and more. I've heard macho carrying guys complain that you should never carry this way but if you are like me, opting out of carrying because of waist fluctuation and gun discomfort is even more dangerous. I thoroughly enjoy and am the most comfortable using this product. I do not keep a round in the pipe but if you want to carry that way, the company offers and suggest a trigger guard that works great! As far as installing this system, take 3 minutes to watch YouTube video on how to and it will take you only 5 minutes to install. Very easy! Went to the range to test my ability/timing to draw and fire weapon- no hang ups or sloppiness and very safe! If you are wondering about the feel with racking the weapon, it's actually very comfortable and non-intrusive. I own the M&P Shield 9. I purchased the Techna Clip for a purpose of having less weight and a not so bulky holster that can be uncomfortable to wear. The Techna Clip fit on my gun perfect. It makes it look mean and it is super snug to the gun. Has a small wiggle but that's from the back mag plate. I would highly recommend purchasing this. I carry it with me everywhere and it's really comfortable. No play or moving around, or any discomfort. Only thing that may be a downfall for some is not having the ability to draw smoothly, If in an emergency situation. There is not catch on your handle unless you prop it in a certain position. Really nice though and well put together product.

Perfect carry clip veryinimal design but works perfect

I bought this clip to replace an IWB Aliengear Holster, so the comparison may be a little unfair. The clip is very sturdy and secure and holds the firearm well. As some other have stated, it does place the weapon very low on the belt; half of the grip is below the top of my pants, so if you want a quick draw this probably isn't the product for you. However, if you want something that's very easy to conceal and is secure, this is a good value.

I've had my Shield for years but never really carried it unless I had a jacket on due to the holsters I've had were just not comfortable. This however keeps the slim profile exactly as it was intended and makes it so much easier. The kit is extremely easy to install and only took me about 1 minute (tip use the allen key included with the kit to push the plastic guide inside of the slide) The aluminum piece included is very well made and looks right at home when installed. The best part is it still fits in my other holsters if I want to carry in a jacket.

This clip is great. I haven't had any of the takedown problems some of the other reviews have mentioned. Installation took less than 5 minutes and it functions perfectly. I used some blue locktite on the screws to prevent them from backing out just to be safe. That was the only modification I made to the install. The clip functions really well. It is a bit tough to get on, but that is a good thing as once it is on the firearm feels very secure. It is by far the most comfortable conceal carry option I have experienced.

If I could make a lower score I would. I bought this item twice thinking it was operator error when the whole time it was seller error for selling a piece of crap. Not an easy install what do ever. I have a smith and Wesson shield 2.0

Screws came stripped and does not stay secure on the backplate. The allen wrench won't tighten it since it has nothing to grip onto. I wish the manufacturer would have options to buy the hardware. I only need 1 screw but it looks like I may need to purchase another clip to get it to work. While it is secure and working though, it's great. It provides a bit more grip to the m&p slide, which is a bit stiffer than most pistols.
