I always loved the versatility that the nato rail system offers but have grown to dislike how bulky it made my setup. I had no idea Smallrig offered a slimmed down version of the popular nato rail. May not seem like much but those few extra mm makes a big difference to keeping the nato rail nearly flush with the cage. My previous nato rail from another brand bulged out too much from the top of my cage and it would always get caught on the inside of my backpack when removing/inserting my camera from the top zip compartment. Aesthetics aside it is functionally superb. It's hard to mess up on a basic product like a nato rail. The safety catches work without issue. I'm a happy camper. I'll be sure to grab more of these when the need arises. So long to bulky nato rails! i have seen complaints from others that there isn't enough clearance on the bottom of the nato rail for certain attachments but so far I have had zero issue with all my nato rail attachments. YMMV.

So nice to build and change your setup whenever your want, from horizontal to vertical.

It was very easy to install these rails onto the top of my camera cage and then slide on a top handle. With the included 1/4" 20 screws tightened down I have no worries about suspending the entire weight of my camera, lens, battery, or more off of this connection. Typical of SmallRig, this is all metal, of high quality, and comes with the Alan key necessary to put it all together. I only wish I had found out about this accessory sooner so that I could switch over to quick release handles before now.

Can't say anything bad about these, Great design and fairly light weight, a must have if your building out a camera rig and need quick and easy teardown

Love these rails. I have a couple of these attached to my camera cage. It offers a variety of mounting locations for different camera accessories.

Yup, it's good. A nice low profile makes it easier to get in and out of my camera bag.

Aunque mi jaula tuviera integrado nato rail... no dudaría en colocarle este nato rail de smallrig por dos principales motivos, #1 Por sus prácticos, discretos y elegantes botones dorados de seguridad que evitan que los accesorios puedan deslizarse y zafarse y #2 porque su diseño y estetica de bajo perfil para mi gustó es hermoso.
