This is a great quality hole puncher... heavy duty and works as advertised.. it's worth every penny. This hole punch doesn't take much effort even if you use it for 40 pages.. it passes my test.. I love it..

Best hole punch I've ever used. This thing works like a charm. I worked for many years in administration and have used hole punches for more years than I care to remember. This hole punch is so sturdy; the screws stay where they are and don't move when you have several sheets you want to punch at one time. Definitely recommend.

Smooth operation, unlike the clumsy manual ones at copiers. Even better than the electric ones. When finished, the press handle locks down by pushing in the side button while holding the handle down.

This is the real deal. Punches a stack of paper with ease and makes clean holes. Zero need for an electric one it’s so smooth and fast. It has a larger footprint than I’d like but that’s a minor quibble. One benefit of its large size is a roomy area below for the waste paper that doesn’t require dumping after every punch.

I was worried about this 3 hole punch because i wanted a heavy duty one with a metal lever so i could apply a lot of pressure and punch through large stacks of paper. I was pleasantly surprised that even though this has a kind of wing flappy thing instead of a nice metal lever, it still held up to a lot of pressure and cut through large stacks. The other thing i was worried about with this design is if the paper would move too much as i applied the downward force, but it really hasnt been an issue even though this does not have much in the way of a border to hold the paper in place - just tiny little bumps.Of course an expensive one with a metal lever and borders to hold the paper in place would be better, but is it worth the cost? For home use i would say no. For business use i would probably spend the extra couple hundred for a heavier duty one. This one is probably fine for most people though.
