Cat Water Fountain with Stainless Steel Top, 2.5L Pet Water Fountain with Led Light and Water Level Window

I have had this fountain for just over a month, and I’m seriously impressed, especially for its fair price. First of all it’s quiet. I’ve actually checked on it a few times to ensure it is running, and it always is. Second, it has a deceptively large water capacity. It holds about a half gallon of water. Third, it’s exceptionally easy to clean. I clean it once weekly in hot, soapy water, using the cleaning brushes that came with the unit. Unlike other fountains I’ve had, I haven’t encountered the inevitable slime inside the fountain after a week of use. It is also intuitively designed so that putting it back together is very easy. Be sure to take the pump completely apart and wash all its components when washing the rest of the fountain. The LED light was a delightful addition, since none of my previous fountains had that design element.Its only drawbacks are that it is mostly plastic, and I prefer metal or ceramic. Also, it doesn’t have a reservoir, so if the power goes out, your cat can’t access the water. That said, as far as the plastic, I’ll get over it and will keep my eyes open for a mostly non-plastic version from this same vendor. As far as the reservoir, I put out a bowl of water on the side in case of power failure, which my cats won’t touch since they love the fountain. Besides that, I’ve owned several fancy cat water fountains in my lifetime, and my cats make a total mess of the reservoir style fountain, slinging water everywhere. That’s the exact reason I abandoned my last pricey fountain. Why five stars despite a couple of demerits? Because this fountain has absolutely achieved desired effect. My four cats have definitely increased their water intake since bringing this little jewel into my home. The water level window is great, with a min and max line. I’m finding that I’m adding about 16 ounces of water each day between weekly washings. I use filtered water from the fridge, and just slowly pour it on top of the unit, and the water filters down to the base of the unit. I’d venture to guess that they haven’t taken in this much water in their lives, and I love that as it has to be terrific for their health.One of my gauges when reviewing an item is, “Would I buy the exact same thing if this were to kick the bucket today?” My answer to this for this product is a resounding, “Yes!” I’ve never had a more effective or efficient cat water fountain. By the way, my review is 100% unsolicited, and I didn’t get any freebies or perks for my purchase. I just happened to stumble on this item when searching for yet another water fountain to suit my, and my cats’ needs. I didn’t have much to lose considering the price point. I hit the jackpot on this one.

This is the 3rd fountain for my cat. I can't remember the first 2 brands or how long they lasted, but I really liked the water level on this and the flower option to make it more like a fountain instead of a bubbler.It's very quiet, and my cat loves it. After about 3 months, it stopped really working well, just dribbling a little and basically unusable. I messaged the seller who suggested taking it apart to deep clean it. Yikes, I'd forgotten to do that since about 2 weeks after I bought it.It was a little gross, but it was really easy to take apart and quick to clean. I'm running some water and vinegar through it to descale anything else, but it was immediately working as soon as I plugged it back in.

Not only is this water fountain absolutely gorgeous, but it is also a big hit with my cat. I struggled with my cat getting enough water previously but she loves this fountain a lot. It's also extremely easy to assemble and also very very easy to clean. Highly recommend!

I like that there is a light and the super quiet motor for this cat fountain. What you hear is the tranquil sounds of the water flowing from the spout, which is very relaxing. I also like that it's possible to take apart the fountain for deep cleaning (clean under everything with a mild dish soap and rinse well) I do not clean the square filter with soap, I rinse it thoroughly. The white colored, square filter that fits in the top area that you can see the photos must be handled gently or the mesh fabric can tear on the side (I need to replace) but overall the fountain is worth a try. I do wish the fountain was entirely stainless still because plastic areas can become nasty if the deep cleaning is not done at least every other day or at the most, every two days. I have not had issues with any fungus growth or odors so my cleaning has worked to ensure the fountain is clean. The fountain can be filled to the half mark or max, I recommend at least filling it to the half or a little over that. I have tried half mark and at the max. Two of my cats took about 3 days before they would go close enough to see there was water coming out of the spout, lol. The theirs cat took over a week to get close. All three of them will drink for the fountain now and I have had it for less than 3 months. Worth the try. I plan to try other cat fountains as well na dmy cats enjoy the running water.

Fits in perfectly with a multi cat household, attachments are great and work well with longer fur cats. I barely even notice the fountain
