Not just for guitars
I use this product to replace a handle on a featherweight case, while the hardware is cheap and looks weak, the handle is great , was not planning on using the hardware anyway since I was retrofitting to the ones in the case , it worked great and I’m satisfied with the sturdiness of the handle itself

Great handle
So far, this handle has been awesome. Not everyone owns a rivet gun , so the fact that it screws together is a big plus. Additionally, it has backside support that gives you peace of mind that the screws will not pull through the case. It is well built and a great replacement for broken handles.

Guitar case handle
The handle came with all the hardware needed to secure it. Looks sturdy.Only complaint was that it took about a month to arrive.

tasteful addition to any leather case
good feel and grip. slightly narrower than expected, but perfectly good as is. installation is straight forward, and will likely require drilling a hole. the provided screws were just long enough for 1/2" plywood in my application (guitar case). thicker or thinner would present a possible problem (new screws). I would definitely buy another one.

Decent handle, cheap mounting bosses
I bought this to mount on a heavy gauge steel folding sawhorse because it originally came with a steel strap handle that was uncomfortable to use (these horses weigh about 18lbs each). The handle itself is rather nice, very soft PU leather that lays smooth and seems well stitched, looks great. The mounting bosses, however, were a disappointment. They are a zinc casting (like most cabinet/drawer hardware castings) but they are pretty thin and not especially well made. The silver plating looks good. The threads were poorly tapped and had a ton of debris inside, so I had to clean those up and chase with a tap in order to get it mounted (they are 4mm x 0.7mm pitch and have approximately 8mm depth). The walls on the threads are quite thin so I hope they hold up to the stress. I used different hardware for my application but the countersunk flathead screws and thin mounting shims should be just fine for most uses if you don't require shorter screws. So it's a good nice looking handle and I think it'd be a great replacement for most instrument cases and briefcases, but for the cost if you don't need the nice fake leather wrap, you might be best served to buy some of the cheapies at half the cost, which are the same thing, or try to track down a version with better metal bosses if need be. In the hand, it's definitely more comfortable than basic plastic unwrapped versions out there. Good buy, costs a bit more than it should.

Perfect!
Purchased this for a wooden chess set that folds together. Perfect for carry. Love it!

The leather tore loose on one side after 11 months.
The leather tire loose on a hinge after 11 months. I use it for my fender strat guitar case.

I'm pleased with this.
I used one of these to replace the handle on a bass clarinet case. One excellent feature is a pair of small steel backing plates, that go on the back side of the case wall. That way the attaching screws won't pull through the case wall under the weight of case + contents. The handle on this case had already been replaced once before, so this is handle #3 for this case. The hole spacing for this one was different from the earlier handles, so I needed to drill a couple new holes in the case wall - not an issue.I found the 'pins" that go through each end of the handle were too small a diameter for the holes in the handle itself. So the handle had more "play" in it that I wanted. I fixed that by getting a short length of PVC tubing from a hardware store - it's available in many diameters and wall thicknesses. I slipped a piece into each end of the handle, problem solved. I think you can tell that I'm a detail guy. One could do a quick and dirty job of installing this handle. But I gave it the time I needed, to do a nice clean and strong job of it.

Inspire une confiance modérée
Le revêtement de cuirette semble tenir par la peau des fesses. Je m’attendais à mieux comme qualité

Held together well but cracked
was good at first but one of the screws holding the handle to the mounting piece cracked after about a months use.

Worked well for 6 months
It was straightforward to replace on my case, but I think just not strong enough for a dreadnought. One of the axles holding the main handle broke. Looking for another stronger one now.
