Works great. Amazing price.
This is a great beginner and advanced router if you are on a budget. I am a woodworker and I would use this over many HD brand routers. It is powerful and it is adjustable, which is good. The plunge base works very well for juice grooves on cutting boards, sign making or anything else you would need it for. I’ve had it for over a year now and it’s still running strong and good.

Good price
This is my third router, I was looking for a plunge base and this combo was a great price. the fixed base is going on my router table and I will then have another fixed base and the plunge. So far it is working great. I gave it a four because it is a little loose at times.

Skil plunge router
I was a bit dubious about getting this skil router purely because I’ve never bought any skil power tools before but I was pleasantly surprised,with the speed control and the digital display it’s so easy to use,has plenty of power tools,and it comes with a vacuum port so I tried it with my shop vac,that combined with the on board light you can easily see what you’re doing because the vacuum sucks up all the dust,none of my other router’s capture all the dust,so if you’re a bit hesitant as I was,don’t be,just take the plunge and get it,no pun intended.

Awesome router! Easy to change from fixed to plunge. Plenty of power. Would highly recommend!

Powerful, Smooth, and Great for Beginners
Tons of power, and switching between the plunge and fixed base is easy. Soft start is a nice touch, and it runs smooth with minimal chatter. Great control for someone new to routing.
