MSR Nonstick Ceramic Coated 2-Pot Camping Cook Set

I love these pots! They are lightweight and durable. They are perfect size for camp.

Exactly as described. Would be nice if they gave 2 pot handles…. I have an Msr fry pan and handle is interchangeable. Still the extra handle would help. Also MSR should have a item specific stuff sack case for this….. I made one of oilskin canvas but still Msr should include this

This is what I was looking for. These have replaced my ti and ss cook sets. I love cooking with aluminum and ceramic coating.

This was supposed to be brand new, but the box had obviously been opened and re-taped. Inside the box was only the two pots and a piece of cardboard. No lid and no handle.

One handle for two pots? Fail. The handle tucks into the pots nicely, so why not provide one per pot? Plastic on the handle directly in the line of potential camp fire? Fail. This has been shown by other reviewers to totally destroy the securing function of the handle to the pot when it melts. This factors definitely detract from customer loyalty and I will shop with a company that offers camping-centric design next time.

Very minimal set. Could be drastically improved by adding a second handle, a second lid for the smaller pot and some sort of bag to store it in. For the price, these items should already be included.

One of the biggest disappointments in my camping kit. I had the older model (MSR alpine cook set) for years and absolutely loved it. I lost it when my shop burned down, so I purchased this new set. It is a little lighter, and the new nonstick seems to work pretty well, but they are so thin and delicate that you can literally dent them just with your fingers. They don’t cook as evenly as the old set either. I assume it’s because they are so thin. The new handle design is a toss up. It works great when attached, but is awkward to remove and switch to the other pot while balancing on a cook stove, or while it’s hot. The lid works pretty well, but unlike the old ones, it has the drain holes in it, so it can not double as a plate when needed. I feel like MSR cut the weight in the wrong place on this set. I can’t really recommend this kit, and I’ll be looking for a new system.

My wife didn't like about this set that this POT HAS ONLY ONE HANDLE INSTEAD OF TWO!!! That's why this is a major problem!!! ❤🇵🇱🇺🇸🗽❤🇵🇱🇺🇸🗽❤🇵🇱🇺🇸🗽

This was a replacement for my previous set, identical to this one. It lasted many years without issue until the handle was misplaced. Very reliable, lightweight and durable, this is a really good cookset.

Don’t get me wrong the idea of ceramic coated pans for outdoor activities where weight and size is a consideration is fantastic. The constant cooking dilemma of burning outdoor backpacking food due to the stoves we typically use pinpointing heat into one spot has been a bane for many years. These pans truly solve this. To put it simply you can cook an egg on a jet stove with no oil or lubricants and it literally still moves around like a hot knife through butter, effortlessly. HOWEVER, over a three week trip to Sweden Norway canoeing off grid and completely self sufficient I would question their durability. Three or four times I had to realign the pans with force to allow the lid to sit correctly on the pans. (Easily bent) and secondly the ceramic coating on the bigger pan has started to chip now I haven’t used a single metal piece of cutlery or crockery on it (obviously because you want to keep the ceramic coating as intact for as long as you can) so I can’t say for sure if it’s the bending and realigning or the fact that the smaller pan is in fact scrapping the bigger one during storage in dry bags etc. canoeing tripping with portages is a rough thing. These pans are great but at the cost and the MSR brand slapped on the side I guess I just expected that little more from them. I will still happily use these pans and I think the handle functionality is second to none, it’s secure when fully laden and folds very practically.

Me semble correcte mais je ne sais pas asi elle durera dans le temps. N’est pas un bon rapport qualité prix. Me semble avoir payé trop cher pour cette qualité.

Die Ware kam überraschend schnell und sorgfältig verpackt an. Das Topfset sieht aus wie erwartet und ist gut verarbeitet. Obwohl es sehr leicht ist macht es einen robusten und stabilen Eindruck. Praktisch, dass man es ineinander stapeln kann. Der Deckel ist auch sehr praktisch und kann als Sieb verwendet werden. Der Preis ist ziemlich hoch, es gibt sicher billigere Topfsets, aber wir haben uns für dieses entschieden. Qualität hat wohl seinen Preis. Kaufempfehlung!
