The #1 Album: New Wave

Quickly brought back memories of the late 70s/early 80s for me when real music ruled the charts. Great selection overall with only one anomaly, Roxy Music - Dance Away - a perfect example of what is NOT a new wave track, but hey ho, compilations usually have a handful of oddities so having only one is OK. Hardly any filler either, I think there's only one track I'd not heard before. You've probably got them all somewhere, but not all in one place like this.so with Blondie, The Jam, The Knack, Martha and The Muffins, The Teardrop Explodes and Iggy Pop to name but a few, it's a big YES from me!

really good album . took me right back some old favourites

It's hard to find a track that's not at least an 8/10. Most of 'em are on my all time favourites list which I still own on vinyl.Having all these on one compilation for a fiver delivered free with Amazon Prime is incredible. Buy now if this is your cup of tea ;)

I was very pleased with with the CD. I originally bought it for a few choice tracks, but was really happy with songs I had forgotten about and some I didn't even know about.

Love this cd. All the tracks I remember. A must for all who like this type of music
