Language Arts: Grade 3 (Flash Kids Harcourt Family Learning)

The media could not be loaded. These books are good for homeschooling. Information is given in chunks for each topic, not spiral learning. Fun layout and pictures make these engaging and less boring than others. They have them for multiple subjects so it is easy to organize daily work for kids.

As a homeschooling family and former classroom teacher, I have used Harcourt Family Learning for years. The language arts series is quality - straightforward lessons, not overly redundant. Many classroom texts and workbooks are so redundant! Remember, kids will learn these concepts over years and don't need to have it over and over in the same book in the same grade level.I highly recommend this series of books for teachers or parents.

Love this series. We homeschool and use the reading, spelling, writing and language arts books from Flash Kids each day. My daughter really enjoys all of them. I feel like this book does a good job of teaching her all the grammar concepts she needs to know for her grade level. She did the second grade book last year and I feel like this also builds well off of what she learned in that book. Appropriate amount of repetition.

I love these so much! I use them to review with my fourth graders at the beginning of the year! It is fun for them and easy for me!They love these! Who would have thought they would love a worksheet but they get excited about them!

Goes great with my second grade homeschool curriculum. Somehow the subjects and lessons lined up perfectly! It’s great practice worksheets to help kids solidify their language arts skills.

Another great addition to our homeschool routine. Perfect for my 8 year old. It explains things so he can understand them. He usually doesn't even need me to explain things to him from this book. We also used the 2nd grade version of this and loved it as well.

excellent grammar exercises that are interesting and short enough to maintain an 8 years old's attention. i also like the diversity in the characters throughout the book.
