We bought this for my 3 year old who was claiming to be afraid of the dark and wanted the lights on while sleeping. It's perfect for a child (it's not anywhere near full size, almost is a toy) but puts out a good amount of light for a nightlight. Kids can turn it on/off themselves and it's fun to have. I'd recommend it for any kid needing a little extra help transitioning to sleeping with the lights out or no nightlight. It's also fun to play with around the house or take camping for a kid.

It's super small but I knew that from other reviews. Lets off a good amout of light. I think its really great for a young child. Im using it in my sons room . After story time I let my son walk around his room a little with this little lantern. Then its time to get in bed and we switch it off.Hoping he gets the hang of it and will turn it on if he wakes in the middle of the night and needs more light.

My little grand kids ages five to ten have been playing with these since I first ordered in 2018. Super easy to use. Nice light for playing in tents. Perfect size for small hands. They are durable, a great value for the money and gphave performed beyond my expectations. Ordering again to get enough for all the kiddos.

Much smaller than I expected, but still cute and plan to use it for my application (a small kids tent I made for my grandkids for Christmas!98

I got these for my 2 and 4 year old. My boys love these and the battery life seems great. They are constantly leaving them on, but I haven't had to replace the batteries in the several weeks they've had them. They seem durable. My kids drop and throw them all the time and they are still intact. I also love that they aren't super bright and they can't blind each other with them like flash lights.The reason I gave it a 4 is the choking hazard. I found a little, round, green piece on the floor. It covers the screws. I have no idea where the other is. I don't think the screw covers are necessary, and will remove them on the other before they do.It would also be nice if they shut off automatically after 20 mins or so to conserve the battery. Otherwise I love these for my two small children and would recommend them for toddler to young school aged child.

Excellent for grandkids camping

It's great for smaller kids during a backyard camping "adventure" or even an indoor one. Not very bright, it's small.

The lantern was ordered as a birthday gift. When we opened the box, we saw that the lantern was VERY small. I'd be ashamed to give it to anyone as a gift.
