Joke for a piece of equipment. Waste of money

Works great ! First 3 days I used it , it said back to back " carol time " I didn't know a carol , come to find out a friends grand mothers name was carol , she died within 7 days of the messages . The only issue I see with it is no jack to amplify volume . Besides that I love it .

After using device two years, at least four times a week, in my home (which is "very" actively haunted, I can say that it works but with this caveat: The Spirits have already said that "TELEPATHY IS BETTER" (meaning while I am sleeping they can come to me and communicate, and I see them looking at me as they do so), the machine is difficult for them because when they try to say a few words or more the Q&A mode in particular keeps injecting random words inbetween, making their messages senseless. After enough use, and telepathy with Spirits at home, I know which phrases our generally theirs and which words/phrases are not. This is the part that takes "extensive" use to get comfortable with what particular Spirits are trying to say to you. I would use it and write down everything said, then delete, after perusing, what overtime I knew did not fit my question or what they randomly wanted to talk about. So, it works if used frequently in home, but you wouldn't get great results with "unfamiliar" Spirits. Also the visibility of the Words on the screen failed after 2nd year of use...still works, but I cannot see the words on screen any longer, just hear the words. It should only be sold for $99.00 in my opinion.

This is a piece of equipment that I would not recommend to newer investigators as it is still extremely experimental and should only be used as a secondary tool due to its capabilities. I'm using this in a form of paranormal research, and from what I have observed, there are a few words in the limited dictionary that are presumably weightless, and by that I mean don't hold much value due to the amount it is repeated and lack of relevance to situations/questions. There are naturally occurring energies that, I suppose, are likely the cause of these responses as I've witnessed many other investigators using the same device experience the same thing. This is NOT a device that will replace a spirit box or Mel meter, however it is an extensive tool to further validate any findings you come across.

I used the Ovilus III for the first time recently. And I have turned it on in various locations. The same words seem to pop up frequently at random locations. Nothing ever flows together or makes any sense whatsoever. I truthfully have no idea whether it works or not. I am considering returning it. :(

I have tested this new Ovilus & also all the original and older models, None have ever, I REPEAT EVER< NEVER WORKED. The people that claim this works, all I can figure is, they spent nearly $300 for these items & would feel like total Idiots, if they ever admitted they were dumb enough to say they wasted that much money on such a stupid device, we have investigated now for over 35 years, I believe in Ghosts/Spirits, we've collected tons of evidence, Audio, Video, photos, Spirit box responses & many other pieced of equipment has worked to help confirm such, but the Ovilus is an expensive prop, a Toy, the only way to test it properly is to borrow one, get your hands on one, ask it to start with, say as we did 100 Yes & No Questions, in a known haunted spot, we all know that spot somewhere we could go to test things out, I have many times & the most Yes or No answers I've ever received were 3 out of 100 and that's the most, usually I got none a big fat 0, why because the Ovilus spits out words at Random, then the owners, that wasted their money on the Device, try to find some way to fit those random words into the investigation, Even Ghost Adventures try their best to get the Ovilus random words to fit in, but it does not work, get yourself a much cheaper P-SB7 Spirit Box, it does not, use a good speaker & Audio recorder with the Spirit box & Video all sessions, you will get great responses, don't waste your money on this piece of Junk.

i can't believe i was fooled into buying this piece of hocus pocus. i was so excited to ghost hunt with this device. it does not work even on the basic emf option and you will never comprehend it's audio. DO NOT BUY THIS device. it's a fraud. the creators should be ashamed of themselves. you are much better off with a basic emf reader.
