Solid box but dont look for it to fit a wider-framed subwoofer. After sanding down about 1/4" of material to widen the sub opening they dropped right in with a pretty snug fit. I would recommend them but with a little hesitation. I didnt mind sanding them down but it was a bit of a setback with my truck build.

Good quality, sounds good. Make sure you check the depth on your sub.
