Violife, Cream Cheese Just Like Cheddar, 7.5 Ounce

I am a cheese lover and my wife is Vegan. We often buy products together to please her diet and I almost always give them a try. THIS did not disappoint! I am blown away at how good this spread tastes! Respect! It spreads easily, even straight out of a pretty cold fridge.I've tried it on crackers, breads, swirled onto the top of hot lentils, stirred into hot green peas mixed with a little nutritional yeast, and yes (shhhh, don't tell my wife) I'm even guilty of swiping a little with my finger late at night straight out of the container! It's simply amazing stuff with an amazing savory taste that adds flavor to everything I've tried it on.My only problem is that Whole Foods in Houston has stopped carrying it and now so has Amazon, and there simply doesn't appear anywhere else to purchase it. I messaged directly with Violife and they assure me that they continue to manufacture and sell it. Seems that Amazon (and by extension, Whole Foods) have made a really, really dumb decision to simply stop carrying this incredibly good tasting spread. I've spoken with several Buyers in the Dairy Departments at Whole Foods and they've told me that it isn't even available in their ordering system. Deeply disappointed to discover such a great product only to turn around and no longer be able to purchase it.

I tried this product for the first time everyesterday. As far as plant based/vegan cheeseoptions go - this VioLife Cheddar Cream Cheesespread is one of thee BEST i have ever eaten.Smooth. Creamy. Rich. Lushious. Delicious.Flavorful. Satisfying. No off putting flavorat all.As with almost all PB/V foods,it's ALWAYS a higher price point for asmaller amount by comparison to animalbased products.In spite of that, i will buy this productover and over again. It's definitely best,at room temperature. I plan to use it tomake nacho cheese sauce.I hope in the future, VioLife offers a LARGER container option. Preferably a 16 or 24 oz tub would be great. The one 7.5 oz tub i bought,lasted less than a day. It's THAT GOOD!

Got this as a spread it’s not bad. At first it’s a nice salty cheddar taste... after taste is something else. Socks would be a good way to describe it. It melts slightly if added on top of hot toast or bagels which is more of like a butter than a cheese imo. It wasn’t the worst thing I’ve tried but I don’t think it was for me.

Reminds me of the old cheese spread you’d get in those cheese and cracker packs, so it evokes a positive childhood memory and it tastes great. I’d use this on just about everything, it’s so good! You’d never know it was vegan unless you looked at the label.

I really enjoy these products it is really good flavor texture it is absolutely great I love to use it as a spread on my bread toast or bagels he has a very soft flavor is not overwhelming where you cannot mix it with something else you can add something sweet like jam or marmalade or you can mix it with something salty like tomatoes lettuce etc.

I had no clue this 'cheese' existed. Now I have more than a clue. I have a case file worth of evidence full of how delicious it is. Thank you Violife for your contributions to the world and my tastebuds.

This is delicious! I had something else in my mind when I added this to my list. It was definitely a happy accident. I'm not certain this will be around my house too much though as it's base is coconut oil ... high fat content. BUT as an occasional treat, most definitely!

I thought the spread would be spicy or flavored with ingredients did not expect to be so cheesy it was great (Violife Fan) gives it many ways to use it spread easily.
