Q: will this cut cushion foam? does it come with a stand or base to set it on when it's cooling?

It should cut through cushion foam, might have to adjust temp. Try on scrap till you find proper temperature. No stand for it.

Q: Can this be used on polystyrene baseboards?

I really don’t think it’s strong enough. You have to be gentle with this hot knife, even cutting Styrofoam for craft projects. I bent mine a couple of times. I would think cutting polystyrene baseboards, which I think are much denser, would take a stronger hot knife. Since this knife is so cheap it may be worth a try if you’re careful with it.

Q: Where can I get a replacement cutting wand/blade/tip for tis item?

Mine broke after about ten uses

Yes, it's ideal for low density styrofoam cutting, handmade practise, advertising words making.
