Golden Barrel Coconut Oil (12/16 fl. oz. Case)

I am a massage therapist, and order coconut oil regularly. This oil smells like food after warming it up. It’s stays in liquid form. It does not turn solid at 76 degrees. I feel this oil may have been used for cooking then filtered for resale.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this order. Its a little darker, a very light yellow, than the last Coconut oil that I purchased. (Not from these people though) I have one jug in my bathroom that I use as "lotion" and one in my kitchen that I am using to cook with. I have to say that I am very happy with this purchase. There is no smell and no taste, so if you use it for lotion or oil pulling its a nice product.

I use this oil in cold process soap making. We heat with a wood stove so I set the bucket near the stove so the oil will turn liquid. In winter it is a solid and hard to remove from the bucket. I have had no problems with it at all and it makes a good additive to the soap mixture. If you have central or forced air heat, I would suggest you set it near a source of heat in the winter unless you live somewhere very warm.

I feed this to my horses on a daily basis. It improves their hooves and hair condition. Additionally, it is a good source of fat in their diet. I use it as an after bath moisturizer as well.

Great coconut oil for good price. I use this for homemade soap so can’t review the taste. Smells wonderful and looks fresh. My soaps have turned out fabulous! I would definitely recommend this product.

I think this is a great value. I wanted to buy in bulk for my soap making and I thought it was a great price. No problems and plan to purchase again.

This is all I use you for cooking and skin conditioning love this oil. this is the cheepist way to buy. Never goes bad.
