Samadoyo 1 liter (33.8oz) Borosilicate Glass Water Pitcher with Built-in Strainer for Iced Tea and Fruit Infused Water

I bought this beautiful glass pitcher to make iced teas in. I absolutely love it!QUALITY: Yes it is great quality. The glass is Borosilicate which means it is resistant to thermal shock and thermal stress unlike regular glass where you would want to be temperature cautious. I was drawn to this to start because it is Borosilicate and I am used to the glass from working in a laboratory. This glass is thin, but it dosn't have to be thick to be durable. The design is STUNNINGLY elegant! It has a measure in an arc along one side in milliliters which has come in handy for mixed health drinks.USE: The top opens via the inset metal disk in the top, just press your thumb against the "grates" in the front where you see the outer rim pour spout, and flip the inner lid up. It pops off easily like that. Once you fill it, set the lid back inside with the opening facing the pour spout and press down, you will feel it sit snug with almost a snap feel when pressed home. I have had lemons and tea bags and all kinds of things inside and not had the top pop off. But if you are worried about it, the glass itself is small enough around to grip with one hand if you want to hold that top with the other. But I NEVER had to do that thus far. Very very beautiful sitting on a table.DURABILITY: I have hand washed this which means I am probably more likely to hit it against something. I have accidentally tapped it a time or two against the granite sink. However no issues when I have. I would still handle with care like anything thats glass though. Be aware it dosn't seal at the top so don't think shaker. The metal top has remained looking like new even though I have had this for several several months with daily use. No issues with any part of this beautiful pitcher.---> I would buy another one without hesitation or gift it to a friend. No regrets!

I wish there were pics online that showed the lid. It is not impossible, but is awkward to get the lid in place so it doesn't fall off when you pour. Otherwise it would be a five star item.Very nice dripless pour spout.

I love these. I use this pitcher to make cold brewed iced tea at work. I have also used them with hot water with absolutely no issues. They work as advertised and are attractive as well.

Nice, classy looking. Seems a bit fragile, not a tough feeling glass; somewhat expensive to me for an Amazon product.
