DPTOOL32mm Automotive Fan Clutch Nut Wrench & Water Pump Holder Tool For BMW Replace 115030 115050 3312

Had been using a short bicycle headset wrench for prior projects but this inexpensive wrench set is the way to go. For the M54 engine, the fan clutch nut is REVERSE THREADED so the 32 mm wrench must be turned counter-clockwise. If the nut won't loosen, a light tap with a mallet should do the trick. Pro tip: the four studs/nuts on the water pump pulley are in a rectangular pattern (NOT a square pattern). Thus, you will need to rotate the pulley until the water pump holder's hole & slot are aligned (the end without the slot - two holes - will not fit).

i have the oem bmw tool but thought this would be nice to keep in the car; but it doesnt line up and restrict the fan so u can break loose the fan bolt. would have to modify to work. i was warned from a friend before buying and he was correct in the fact that it doesnt line up.

I purchased this for my fan clutch on a 2005 F-150. The tool to hold the pulley works great. Went to unscrew the fan clutch and the wrench is to small. Disappointed.

Good enough for what I needed. Used a bench grinder to get the wrench to the size I needed for an 06 H3 fan clutch nut. I still needed to loan a tool from a parts store to hold the pully still.

The main problem is to break the nut loose on the fan clutch so as to remove the fan. It's a little tricky holding the tool in the right orientation to do this, but it does work. I am happy I got this.

finally got the time to repair my cooling system today. first step is to remove the fan clutch. the nut size is 32mm. the tool is NOT exactly a 32mm. i have not been able to remove my fan clutch with it. i went to a tool store and bought a 32 mm wrench to do the job this tool couldn’t.

The tool worked well for the BMW straight six cylinder engine glad it was available save me a lot of money
