Way lower pleats per foot than Filtrete 3M
I discovered after ordering these that Nordic Pure filters only have 16 pleats per foot vs the over 50 per foot for Filtrete 3M (for filters Merv 13 or above), which results in 20% higher pressure drop across Nordic Pure filters than Filtrete Filters of the same Merv rating, which can cause problems for some air handlers. The difference increases with age since fewer pleats (plus slightly lower thickness of 3/4 inch vs 1 inch for Filtrete) means less area to absorb dust, so the filter gets clogged up faster, so if you have high dust levels, you have to change the Nordic Pure filters much more frequently than the Filtrete 3M filters. These are still a good value compared to Filtrete if you don't have high dust levels and can change them only every 3 months : I am only dinging it one star because the filters are not labelled with the Merv rating (or any way to tell which filter you got).In the future I will try Filtrete Merv 13 (MPR=2200) Filters that are currently on sale at Costco for $11.50 per filter ($46 for a box of 4 and free shipping). You can also get Filtrete Merv 14 (MPR=2800) but at $58 for 2 (at Amazon) they are a bit too pricey for me and are only a better deal than these Merv 14 Nordic Pure if you have high enough dust levels that the Nordic Pure filters clogs up in 6 weeks or less.

Check your dimensions first
They worked, but not as well as they should have. I purchased the 14x20x1 size thinking it would be sized the same as other brands with that stated dimension. The site does state the "actual dimensions" as 13.5x19.5x.75 and I had thought that was consistent with other brands. I was wrong. 3M Filtrete brand filters fit my furnace slots perfectly, these Nordic Pure brands were a half inch too small on all sides and I had to get creative to make them seal well enough to work. They did alright, but not having a good fit certainly lowered their efficiency. If you're considering these filters make sure to check the "actual dimensions" and measure the physical slot for your filters at home to make sure they match up. They are a great price and seem to do well at filtering the air, but I won't be buying them again due to the fit.

Not purchasing again
I don’t believe these are MERV 13 filters. The pleats are very wide and material used is not consistent. Nowhere in the packaging for the Nordic product shipping box, or the filter itself, does it state the MERV level. I’ve attached a pic of the 3M MERV 13 filter I removed (filter on top of pic). As you can see there is very obvious difference in filter materials used and the amount of pleats in the filter material.

Better air flow, but a loose fit
As promised, the extra pleats provide more surface area and less air flow restriction. Our air intakes are on the small side for the amount of air the system moves, so I have found that we can't use some of the more restrictive designs.People should be aware of on odd thing about filter sizing. You know how 2x4 lumber isn't really 2" by 4"? It's not, but at least it's consistent from one supplier to another. Not so with filters. Some brands are 1/4" smaller than the size on the label, some are 3/8" under, and some are 1/2". These are 1/2" under, and are so loose in our intakes that I had to use painter's tape to be sure that air doesn't leak around the outside. I'm not aware of another brand with the MiniPleat feature and larger sizing, but I'll be checking for that before our next replacement cycle.By the way, the filters came in a Nordic Pure box, but they are unwrapped and unlabeled. I'm glad not to have plastic wrap to dispose of, but it's a little odd that there's no brand name printed on the filter itself.

Not individually wrapped
I ordered Merv 12 box of 6 filters and was surprised to find that the filters are not individually wrapped. I also had no way of knowing if I received the filters I ordered since the filters had no information other than the size printed on them. There was no way for me to know if I received Merv 10 or 12, they also seem quite flimsy. Called Nordic Pure and was told the only way I can tell is by the shipping box which should have the info. The box only had shipping label with no other product info. These filters are cheap but I believe you get what you pay for. Not sure how they will perform. Probably won't buy these again.

filters are about 1/4" undersized all around; frame not stamped with rating (neither FPR nor MERV)
I'm in wildfire country, CA. I ordered the 6 pack of these filters, nominal size 14 x 20 x1 and installed a new one this morning. Instead of the usual snug fit into the furnace frame, there was (possibly) significant gap- note my air return is overhead and normally I can insert the new filter and it will stay put while I clean the grate; this one fell out. The filter I am comparing it to is 14x 20 x1 'Honeywell' sold at HD, mfg by Flanders filter in North Carolina. The actual size of the Honeywell is: 13 3/4" x 19 3/4" x 3/4". The Nordic is 13 1/2" x 19 1/2" x 3/4"A second concern is the Nordic filter cardboard frames are not individually stamped with the FPR nor MERV rating, unlike the Honeywell/HD so it's not obvious to me that they meet this spec.I did turn the furnace fan ON, and the filter was pulled onto the return air duct interior frame, so it appears to fit well enough to work. I'd be more confident in functionality if the sizing were a bit larger and the rating stamped on the frame though.

Great MERV at great price
Good filters. Long story following.I smoke and try to reduce the smoke odor in my house as much as possible. I had a filter that left a detectable amount of smoke odor in the air. I was able to send that filter output into this filter via the whole house fan system and then it was undetectable anywhere in the house (I say, as a smoker).Learning from this experience, I then chopped one of the filters up, jammed it in my local filter system, and now I don't have to run the whole house fan to filter smoke. So I figure if this filter is good enough to filter out smoke odor that another filter left behind, then its a pretty good filter. Will become my new go-to furnace/ac filter. Also, no noticeable increase in electric bill over previous paper filter at comparable cost that did not filter smoke odor.

Great Price, Good Quality
I'm very satisfied with these filters (14x20) box of 6. They seem to work just as good as the Name Brand more expensive ones. Yes, they are a litter shorter and a tiny bit thinner then my old filters. They still fit but were a tad bid loose so I just put a piece of 3/8 inch self adhesive foam strip on the back of the filter to keep it nice and snug. For the price, it's definitely worth it.

Effective filter
Noted less dust after installation. However in my condo system, it was a very tight fit and the cardboard edges needed to be crimped to get by screw-heads along the channel.

Misleading Title
Filters seem to be of good quality but beware of the misleading title. Title states, "box of 6," when my order arrived there were only 2. My best guess is that when you select the size from the dropdown the final digit indicates the number of filters you are ordering (e.g. my filter size ended in -2).

Fits my condo HVAC unit (13.5 width) perfect!
These fit my condo unit perfectly! Much cleaner air already, a lot better than the low quality standard ones we're issued. Now I change them as frequently as I want and the price is very fair.
