This works great with Prismacolor colored pencils ! I like that it is 100 pounds , is wire bound , has a sturdy backing and is easily carried.The surface is a good texture for colored pencils.

I love this colored pencil paper! Total game changer for me. It is so soft and the pencil applies and erases easily. My only issues were that the paper sometimes rips when removing from the book and that they don't sell it with the prongs on the top.

I like this so much I bought two more immediately after receiving the first one. The paper quality is great, the size is convenient for my use, and the top binding is easy to work with. I use Prismacolor pencils and blend with an alcohol marker, so I did have some concerns about the paper holding up to the alcohol but it does great!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is what I remember paper use to be for quality. Other brands have definitely gotten cheaper. Strathmore is the only brand I'll buy from here on out. I would recommend these for commissions.

Great product!! After trimming the paper to fit my home copier, I make copies of adult coloring book pages onto this Strathmore paper. That way, if I make an uncorrectable mistake, I haven't ruined the original. Also, this paper provides opportunity for a much better, overall result compared to the quality of paper found in the average coloring book. The amount of tooth in this paper allows for multiple layers, so important with color pencil work, with enough tooth left for burnishing or blending with blending pencil. A little pricy, but worth the expenditure if your serious and enthusiastic about color pencil art!
