This is a solid and well built trellis. Easy assembly. Everything I was hoping for.

The design and quality of the trellis is fantastic. It is, without a doubt, heavy duty! Putting it together was a little tricky only because a couple of the holes that were meant to hold the trellis halves together were not in sync. We used an electric drill to expand one of the holes and were able to put it all together. It is definitely not going anywhere! My clematis is happily climbing it right now!

The product is beautiful. At first I thought H Potter meant it was a spin off from Harry Potter (not true), but this trellis does have a medieval, wrought iron, artsy and solid vibe to it that does make me think of a castle. It's easy to put together but you do need 2 people to balance it. I actually put it over an existing rose bush so I didn't install it flush with the ground. The 2 side pieces stabilize it for "tilt" while the bottom spike are long and anchor the trellis to the ground. I love it and am considering another one. I needed something to draw attention in a large gray open space without being intrusive to the walkway. My only detraction...the side pieces require black zip ties. 1) They aren't part of the packaging so I didn't know they were needed and 2) Zip ties take away from the overall appearance. I wish there was another way to attach them.

This product is GORGEOUS and brings such loveliness to my garden. However, it was not cheap, and for the amount of money spent, there were two surprising and disappointing issues with this product. While the main structure did come with pre-drilled holes and screws to securely assemble the main two parts together, the two outer support bars came with no drilled screw holes, and UNBELIEVABLY, with only black plastic pull ties intended to hold them to the main structure. Also, the screws included were not stainless steel. So in order to keep them from rusting in the elements, we had the added expense of purchasing those at the local hardware store. Luckily, my husband is handy and could drill holes and purchase proper screws for me, but such an inconvenience for the money spent, and especially for anyone without a handy husband to fix the problem!

This is a heavy, heavy trellis. Its well assembled, nice metal and finish, and durable. Its not hard to put together, but it'll take you longer than you think. You'll need help placing this, too--if you're sticking it into the ground, have somebody else around to help you maneuver it, because its as awkward to handle as it is heavy. Once you get it planted in the ground, it's likely not going anywhere. If it does, make sure your homeowners is paid up, because it would make one heavy piece of debris. Recommended.

I needed two very tall trellises to support honeysuckle vines on the side of my home. The prior (less expensive) tall trellises I had used there only lasted about 10 years, and then the wrought iron bent and cracked where the top and bottom pieces were fastened together. I own a different H Potter item (Lotus 3-Dimensional Trellis) that I've been very happy with, so I felt fairly confident making this purchase, even though the price was higher than what I wanted to pay. And while the Amazon driver probably hated us for having two push two very heavy packages up to our door, I was excited that these two were delivered 3 days after I ordered. The packaging could not have been better! It protected every piece, kept small parts from shifting around and was secured internally with plastic wrap to ensure nothing shifted in transit. The instructions were clear. They even included a couple extra nuts and bolts, which were shipped with the nuts already threaded onto each bolt. Since there were two sizes (longer/narrower, and shorter/ wider) this prevented you from having to dig through a box of hardware and play matchmaker. I especially liked the long channel pieces that you slid onto the right and left side at the midpoint of the trellis, as they extended over the weakest part of the design, where you screw the top to the bottom. (See close-up photo). Had my original trellis been designed this thoughtfully, it likely never would have broken. Kudos to the designers! All holes lined up perfectly. These were easy to assemble with two people working together. The hardest part was lifting the top up to place it onto the bottom unit (did I mention how heavy these were?) to fasten it into place. My husband uttered the time tested man praise "Those aren't going anywhere." where we were done. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Timely delivery. Easy to assemble and install. Well crafted and constructed. Very attractive in garden. A little pricey but you get what you pay for and this trellis is worth it. Much better than most of what is offered by competitors.
