I love that this line of socks is unisex. I bought a christmasy pattern for a female friend over the winter and she said the socks maybe worked a little too well, actually making her feet hot in bed! I bought a charcoal gray color for myself more recently. These socks work! I havent experienced feeling too hot in them, but they're super soft and comfy to slip into with your pajamas after work on a cold night. Keeps my toes and feet warm and comfortable. Cant speak to long term durability, but they seem well built. They're pretty thick so obviously I dont use them with shoes or to go outside in. They are for me purely for keeping warm inside. With them being thick it makes them feel like maybe they run a little big but actually the length of the sock seems pretty spot on. It's just thick. Highly recommended.

I wore these dog sledding during a snow storm and all day snowmobiling in the mountains around Big Sky. While my friends got cold feet or used foot warmers, my feet stayed warm all day. They are soft and comfortable. The size was perfect, they topped my hiking boots.

I bought this for my big girl. We have wooden floors and it gets colder in late fall and winter. We don't wear shoes or slippers inside home and always be with bare foot.She lately complaint about the coldness and I thought to try this for her and usually she don't like wearing one inside house but she is OK wearing this one and mentioned its soft and not bothering her. It also help keeps her foot warm enough and I'm happy she is doing fine now.I read an earlier review about them falling apart after wash-- will update down the road if that changes. Love these socks and the design for now.

Great and comfortable

I was hoping that these socks (for my always-cold feet) would be nice, so I put them on my Amazon wish list. When I received then as a gift, I realized that they feel rough. Also, the socks run BIG!

I work in a factory where the temps are comparable to outside temps. I’m melting in the summer and freezing in the winter. But these socks are a dream for my feet in the cold temps! Thick, soft — and they really kept my feet toasty all shift, but without making them sweat. I think they’re awesome.

Soy una persona muy, muy friolenta y estos calcetines térmicos me ayudan muchísimo. Hace el efecto térmico casi inmediatamente. Son de grosor aceptable, han resistido muy bien el uso y lavadas. Recomiendo mucho si buscas algo para frío intenso, ten en cuenta que son gruesos y no caben en zapatos/tenis normales.

It's not quite winter yet in Toronto but I have worn them for a few cool November days. The photo in the ad seems to show knee socks, and these are not quite there. I wore them before washing them first and did find them a bit itchy after a long day -- once washed, there was no more itch. Once we get to the blistering cold temps here, if these don't keep my feet warm I'll add an update -- if you don't see an update by mid-February, all is good :)

Great with my Hunter boots. Keeps my feet warm and dry ( no sweating). A great purchase when I got them at $9.99 a pair. Waiting till lower price returns to buy more.

I have neurophy on top of my left foot (from massive blood clot in hip) and my feet have been very sensitive to cold. I have been wearing "fuzzy" socks and they were ok, but these socks keep my feet so warm. I would love them even more if they were long enough cover my calves.
