Great Choice
I bought this for a fractured toe after being very uncomfortable in the shoe I received at the doctors. I need a lot of cushion for very arthritic feet. I followed reviewers suggestions to size down and it fits perfectly. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 wide and I ordered size small and its perfect. It's about 3/4 inch longer than my longest toe and plenty of width, plus the width is adjustable. There is also room for adding an insole for more cushion. This keeps my toes from bending when I walk and its very comfortable. Great purchase and very thankful.

Perfect Brace for Minor Injuries
I absolutely love this brace! I had jammed my toe and needed a brace immediately to take the pressure off my toe/ foot and secure it to prevent further injury. The brace arrived by the next morning and was exactly what I was looking for.I needed a roomy wide toe area, covered toe area, a lightweight brace that had some elevation to match when I wore shoes. This brace is perfect height to wear outside with my regular shoes and provides support and keeps my toes warm because it’s covered! Brace Ability has a few different designs and I have two of them. Kudos to you Brace Ability!

Great boot, but ankle strap is far too long and needs modifications
This boot fits well, and the sizing chart is actually accurate as opposed to the other boot I purchased. Strong soul doesn't bend, and having the closed to feels safer and more comfortable to. It's easy to walk on and is lightweight and slim. My only complaint is that the ankle strap is far too long, as if it's built for ankles the width of a tree trunk. I had to trim it down to get it sufficiently tight.

BraceAbility Closed Toe Medical Walking Shoe
Like many of the people here, I ended up having to buy a medical boot to allow my foot to heal from an injury. In my case, I broke my pinkie toe. For a month, I thought I could make due on my own without buying any special equipment. I taped it, I babied it, I hobbled around in my winter boots...all was going well until I refractured it. After THAT happened, my husband convinced me to get a proper medical boot. I didn't want one of those big and clunky things that go half way up your calf, so I went searching on Amazon. This bootie was the perfect compromise. This medical bootie is SO easy to put on and wear. It opens completely up, allowing you to put on the bootie without any additional pressure on your injury. The various velcro straps made the bootie very secure on my foot. The size Medium was perfect for my size 7.5 foot. I also tried the small, but my foot was pushing out the front. I did have to borrow one of my husband's thick winter socks to wear inside the boot so my foot didn't twist or slosh in the boot..it kind of helped fill in the space. I could tighten the straps down but my toe was not having the extra pressure, so this was my work around. It is fairly lightweight but protective of the foot. I've accidentally stubbed my foot a few times while wearing this and it definitely protected my foot from any reinjury.I've spent 2 months wearing this bootie.... I went from hobbling around on my heel in it, to finally being able to put some occasionally pressure down, and now I can "walk" while wearing it. This has been a godsend after the refracture, and I wish I had gotten it when I first broke my toe. I've worn it in the rain and in the cold. I've even accidentally fallen asleep while wearing it, and it was still comfortable. It does best on smooth and flat pavement, but I've taken it out for a spin on grassy hills and my backyard. I've been using a cane to help with stability when out in public or getting in/out of my vehicle. I've finally gotten more mobility back and think I'll be out of the bootie fairly soon. I wanted to wait a fair bit before I wrote my review, to make sure it actually helped my injury, but I've been very satisfied with it since I bought it. I've put it through it's paces the past 2 months and it's still holding up fine.Highly HIGHLY recommend to anyone with a toe injury or foot injury. Skip the big bulky boot and get this one instead.

Needs some changes made
The shoe is okay. I was fine with the length (supportive of a broken toe). The strap that goes around the ankle was not great. The plastic piece that is on either side that the strap goes through rests on either side of the ankle at the bone. By first day of wearing the shoe, I was very sore to thepoint that I had bruising. Move the plastic holders to a neutral location and I would recommend it.

Braceability ankle support boot
This is a great brace for a foot injury or surgery. The closed toe protects the foot better than the open-toed brace the hospital gave me and the Velcro straps hold it securely. The ankle strap is particularly effective because it can be tightened by adjusting it from both ends to get a good fit. This boot supports my foot and keeps it more comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Impressed! Very comfortable
As must reviewers have stated, I was offered a shoe by my doctor that was oversized, flat bottomed, non supportive, and very uncomfortable. This shoe/boot was immediately better fitting for a woman in my opinion. It’s still roomy, but the 3 straps made it fit far better. I broke my baby toe and still need to drive, run errands, and take care of my kids. This boot makes it all possible again. Feels more like a regular shoe, too. I’m usually an 8.5 or 9 and the Medium fits great
