ZOOBZ-Strux Lift'N Loader

This was a Christmas gift for my five year old grandson, and he absolutely loved it. He loves trucks, and he loves to construct things. He played with it the whole time he was at my house, and from what I hear he is still playing with it. Great toy.

This set gets an extra star for being a ZOOB set that my son can use with his other ZOOBs. As a stand-alone set, I would give it 3 stars. We have built two of the vehicles from the included instructions, and I am really not happy with the wheels. Since they are larger than the other ZOOB wheels (for example, the Car Designer set), they buckle under quite easily because of the ease of movement around the joint, making the vehicles difficult to play with once they are constructed.Our son is still a little young for the ZOOBs (almost 3.5 years old), but he loves them nonetheless - he tells us what he wants made, and we build them together, with him snapping together the parts he can on his own (saddle pieces), and helping us snap together the ball-joint pieces. An older child may be content to just build the vehicles without wanting to play with them so much afterward, but our son is getting a little frustrated that he can't really play with the vehicles after they are constructed like he can the other ZOOB vehicles. He does, however, love the little man that comes with the set. :-)We got a really good deal on this set, so I'm okay with what we got, but had we paid full price, I would be a little upset, and might even consider returning it and buying a different ZOOB vehicle set (or several, for the same total price as this one).If we can figure out how to build so that the wheels don't buckle under, I will post an update with some pictures.Expert Hint: We also have a NILO table, with the holes around the edge, and the NILO nails that we can attach the ZOOBs to - if you are looking for a play table, the NILO table is awesome, especially if your little is a builder, since you can attach ZOOBs to the NILO nails, and you can also buy accessories for LEGOs and wooden train sets.

Purchased them for my two grandsons. They love building things. Great for creative thinking and problem solving.

I am so disappointed by this product. I was truly looking for something my son and I could build together. He loves construction machines, so I "thought" this would be a home run. The building part is fine and fun, but that is it. This product can't even roll forward or backward. You can just sit and stare at it. That is it. There is no function at all to this toy aside from building it. Every parent and kid know the best part of building any toy with their child is seeing their child enjoying it after they are done building it. You can't do this with this toy. You can build it and watch it break in your child's hands as soon as they touch it. The product doesn't even support itself while just standing there. So disappointed. And I bought it as an early birthday gift for my son, so it was sitting in a closet for almost two months, so no more returning it. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

Bought these for my 6 year old son. He likes them. They are a lot bigger than I thought they would be. They feel well made. They were cheapest on Amazon.

Gave it as a gift and the 6 year old loved it! Lots of sturdy pieces that fit securely into one another to make a stable structure.

Fun building toy, great for my almost 6 year old. I was pleasantly surprised how big of a toy this is.

Great fun for me and my grandson. Will purchase more of these kits.
